...really? Come on, man...do you work for ESPN and Skip Bayless by any chance?
Its a joke...chill. But he has gone out the last 3 seasons in 3rd place in the RO16 so I'm just hoping he doesn't develop some sort of mental roadblock. Or maybe he's just having an off day on these days.
It is a roadblock, though not mental. The roadblock is named Parting
To be fair to Life he always beats Parting the first time and loses in the second series.
It is more because of the flawed group system GOM uses then Parting being better then Life (I would say Life played better overall then Parting today).
Yeah, I like gsl's system cause it's clean with no tiebreakers needed, but I always hated the fact that someone whose skills don't even reach another person's feet can advance over him by tying him 2-2. It's a flaw in the system, but there is no perfect system in the world to use.
I really want to see a bo7 b/w life and innovation. That will probably be the most epic series in sc2 history when it finally happens. Life was sloppy in his mine detection in that series and I don't think he would let it happen again. Those abandoned mines doing so much damage to his army in game 1 hurt to see. No idea why he never had an overseer come over after he forced back that army.

Yeah, I was joking too. It should be noted though, Royal Roader to consistant Round of 16 is a hell of a run (not to mention MLG wins)
kinda surprised life didn't go for roaches or spines against that much zealot/sentry in final game...so impossible to trade cost efficiently against that with lings. i guess he just didn't expect parting to attack ;/

He would not get 2-2 if his skills "don't even reach his feet"

Flawed group system... What is better?
Extended series. I know the cool thing is to hate on it and I understand the rationale against it but can anyone honestly say they wouldn't have loved to see one more game?

I call EffOrt versus Bogus more sloppy. The errors Life did make against those last few mines were what I call forced errors. A forced error is much better than an unforced error. The amount of micro mistakes/sloppiness in that series was over a dozen. Life against Innovation he only made several.

He's just bitter because his guy lost like many are apparently. PartinG got skill.

There is nothing wrong with this system. We've used it way back in BW. Life had his cracks just like Leenock did. Tough luck. Try again next time.
Wow not at all what I expected when I went to sleep after Innovation v Life. Wouldn't call myself a Flash fan but I wish he would have won =/ Flash winning = good for SC2.
I console myself by seeing they were 2-0's but I am shocked Life lost AND Parting won on the rematch? 321 pages because there was as much action in a few hours of this than 12 hours of MLG.
After Flash v Innovation I wonder if Marauder should be a T2 unit. Seems a little screwy to have a T1 infantry unit easily pwn a freakin tank even in a video game. It should be a specialized armor killer that needs to be researched at factory... or something. Maybe give it a new look. Just throwing it out there.
Very disappointed with Life's play. He played too passive against Bogus and did the same mistake twice in a row against Parting. Also very disappointed to see Parting advance.

the games were kinda cool but when did tasteless and artosis get so terrible at commentating
Personally I agree their commentating was awful, particularly Tasteless. They just keep repeating "zomg these guys are invincible perfect gosu gods." Maybe funny once but it just got ridiculous to the point where they weren't even breaking down what was going on in the games.
In my opinion Axeltoss and Axslav are the best pair of casters. Insightful and funny, they go on diatribes sometimes but then they get right back to giving useful commentary.
Did you try the OTHER WCS KR stream?

I would recommend this to ANYONE who didn't see them!!
edit: free VODs might be a smart way for OSL to attract fans...

This is how I feel. Odd, considering this was the most powerful group of humans ever assembled...
I'm actually kind of happy parting and innovation made it through. Innovation is an amazing player to watch and he had topped the kr ladder the last few seasons. And there are so little protoss in the ro16 anyways. As much as I wanted Flash to make it through, he is not ready to win a championship yet I think. And only two players could make it through.
