God I can't stand them haha. Level of play is too dramatically different. WCS in general makes me so sad. I can really only watch GSL and then events like DreamHack now.

Not because of the matches but because of how some foreigners behaved there. What the hell. I realise they are the outliers because most of the guys and gals there were just sitting there, making cheerfuls and enjoying this vibe they might have longed for for over a decade now. But if those guys were to brag here in this thread I'd call them out and shout banworthy things on their heads.
First and foremost because this isn't an issue of self entitlement but just basic manners. Dude, who the fuck do you think you are to literally strip the pizza out from another guy's hands? Like, really, I don't know if I should laugh or cry. What's wrong with you, jesus.
The second, but apparently much sadder issue I accidentally saw was a group of people making the teary-eyed Flash stop and sign autographs and fucknot. If you really are a fan (and I guess you are why else would you watch a guy's matches and wait there for autographs) and respect the player you are rooting for the last, and least respectful thing you could do is to make him sign your shit and laugh there when he just went 1-4 and is running away, crying and demolished. How huge of a self-entitled fag do you have to be to not realise that just because you had the chance to get to this studio tonight it doesn't make you automatically coolbro how can just do as he pleases. Jesus christ.
The matches were kinda meh, I was watching some baseball with some koreans after the winners match but the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I'd dare to say even better than the Ror0 - someone finals.
Parting crying after his win was a really heartwarming moment he's such a cool dude, eternal respect, really. these are pretty unpleasant things to hear, Flash.. It's one person's perspective and I respect it, but it seriously sounds so extreme. Taking pizza off a dude's hands; what?! I agree with the autograph thing, but looking from a different perspective, I can see how a fan might want to cheer his favorite player by asking for an autograph; like a show of csupport during the lowest moments. I don't know :\ The one time I was in korea to watch BW, Flash lost his 2nd osl ro16 game, not yet eliminated. I still tried asking for an autograph but his fangirls shoved me away. After some years I now kinda regret it...
He's probably already used to it though after 6 years of progaming.

Parting crying after his win was a really heartwarming moment he's such a cool dude, eternal respect, really. these are pretty unpleasant things to hear, Flash.. To me it seemed obvious, I don't know how much of this could be seen through stream that he was really usure when it came to ghost usage, and probably has never faced a composition like partings tempest-colossi. He really didn't have a clue how to handle it. I'm personally more upset about those dickheads than Flash. I'd be more worried if he wouldn't take these things to his heart that's I think when we could start to think that we've lost him. He wasn't the dominant force tonight but I guess if he's caring about losing this much we will see him reign. Might as well happen during the weekend already. Sidenote: did you just say Roro-someone finals? Cold man. Symbol is really good Ah man, thanks! I was trying really hard but I just couldn't remember it. I figured it's better to go on with the comment than go and look it up. It wasn't against Symbol, he really is a cool dude, my fave with Curious for years now. Oh lol! I thought you intentionally said "someone" to suggest he's a "nobody". But all good man I forget players all the time

Okay that was a ridiculous day of Starcraft... I was most impressed by fucking goddamn PartinG. That guy's control was unreal. Such a badass to make the group of death and come out of it after being beaten by Life at first. All players played extremely well, what a treat.

I didn't see WCS AM last night but I watched the other two days. The problem with WCS AM in the ro32 is that there is a huge disparity in skill making basically all the foreigner vs korean games boring from being completely 1 sided stomps (some of the korean vs korean games, too, in the case of Nestea vs Apocalypse). Even though the games would be lower quality, I have to wonder if it would be more exciting if it was foreigner vs foreigner at similar skill levels. The other problem, though, is that the American region doesn't have a lot of dept, so I think there is still a pretty large disparity in skill after you go through the first few top Americans. Ro16+ should be more exciting I hope. Sad thing is it might not have any players from the Americas left.

every sport star does sign autographs, be it after a loss or a win; calling foreigners bad mannered because they came to korea, to watch games and hell, dare they want an autograph aswell and interact with their hero's. actually i feel this is an insult to any fan who is really rooting for someone and wants a to catch a breeze of RL talking to some players, even if its only for split seconds. and no, this is not a cultural thing between korea and the "west".
the pizza thing is simply bad behaviour from some individual(s), absolutely agree

The guys were stopping him from leaving effectively making him turn around to sign shit.
I think it's really of bad taste to think you are entitled to be the fan when the situation is quite unappropriate. It's manner, man. I might never see flash again, and yet I wasn't even thinking about trying to interact with him after the weird hell he went through in this group.
I don't think you'd agree with people making photographs with a dead Ayrton Senna, which is while taken to the extreme the same principle you are touting about. Have some manners and respect for others. Especially people who you coin yourself to be a fan of.

Why Parting why? Just lose to Life and I would've been happy. The less protoss the better the matches

Man, this group did live up to expectations judging from the recommended percentages. Great to see INoVation dominate this group as I expected, he is my favorite to reach the finals this season. Sad for Life to continue his Ro16 block though, but I expect him to destroy the competition outside GSL in the future. Happy for PartinG to be the only guiding light for Protoss in these dark days for the race.
