Pretty much this. If he hadn't, g2 would have been the same as g1. Even though he kept zerg on 3 and a half base all the time, his time was almost running out all the same.

No one gonna cheer for him because the current state of PvZ. Yeah he has fallen from a totally adored sick nerd baller to just another shitty patchzerg... I hate the two-faced hypocrisy that seems to come from a lot of fans. nah bro he just cant multitask for shit i mean he had lings running everywhere and shit while fighting rain's army and had to deal with wp drops and has 500+ apm but man he's just a patchzerg
Exactly. Let's calm the fuck down here people. This matchup has its issues but the hyperbole from either side is getting ridiculous. These games have been incredible, tense, and come down to a few sick moves. Can we not just grab the popcorn and enjoy it?

Ok Rain let's have a short game so I can go to bed faster

So... yes, it was his own fault, but man that crap is powerful when you have an immobile army such as BL+Infestor, which shows a good way to break BL + Infestor...
wait... is that... is that a counter? A type of BALANCE?
BALANCE? In MY Starcraft?! It's more likely than you think!
a counter which can be held off easily by just putting spores (using one of those 100+ drones) at every major location?

Zergs, maybe if you built something that wasn't an infestor or a broodlord, like maybe some corrupters to stop the air routes into your base. Or even just spam spines like you do every other place on the map you'd be able to stop it. War prisms is what can make endgame ZvP enjoyable. Im starting to wish all races had a similar mechanic. The backstab possibilities and anti-deathball play would be awesome. This is one of the things - I hope - HotS can evolve. Even as a Protoss I think, the anti-deathball methods should be a lot better in SC2.

But being able to warp 40+ supply directly into an opponent's base isn't? yeah man maybe they should remove that so zerg can finally get a 100% winrate late game instead of something like 80% Because two things on two different sides can't be stupid and broken independently, right? One is completely irrelevant because of the other. Wonderful ^_^ warp prism is about as broken as nydus canal aka not really broken, this is clearly not an issue this...zergs dont know how to make spines/spores surrounding their spire/pool/etc... So you think that a building which costs gas and is kill able by 3 workers before it completes, is similar to a flying unit witch can unload units as well as warp in?
just shows how much you know about the game

I think everyone acknowledges that going around using warp prisms to the most immobile composition ever, it's not broken at all. It's the purpose of harrasing. However I don't feel the same when you are able to warp in a 40+ army from one single warp prism.

It's basically a shittier, more powerful version of recall lol

I kind of miss this.. the games use to be so back and forth with the action picking up as the minutes go by.. none of this sitting in your base forever into gg.

I don't think you're using the term "break" properly. That army will still be standing. Although I don't know why I'm replying to a post heavily laden with sarcasm.

Wasn't BW similarly skewed though? With P winning far less and with T at the top? [/QUOTE]
Only because the Terrans all kicked ass (Boxer, iloveoove, Flash, Nada) it wasn't so much a race problem as much as a the best players were just Terrans sort of thing.
