I doubt there is really a noticeable difference in viewers depending on match-ups. Lets face it - if you only want to watch terrans your pretty much a write-off for many foreign tournaments anyway.

There's a difference between only wanting to watch terrans and having tournaments where the Ro8 has not a single Terran. Or Top 12 in a Double Elimination bracket (Sup WCS Asia? T_T)

Give all terrans the OP marines strelok got at IEM China save the tournament today.
Wait wut? Are you implying mariners aren't OP already?
If I were the balance designer (hire me Blizz), I'd buff Siege tanks and Raven.
I think a siege tank buff could have a positive effect. I'm not convinced of both at the same time. Also, i personally think a small buff will suffice. (so no back to 70 damage :/ )

Too busy preparing to rob IPL5 of their delicious foreign dollars
MLG IPL
Look at the IPL5 terran line up, MKP, taeja, polt, alive, MMA and the byunjwa almost all of the whos who of terran with many top zergs and tosses mia except hyun, violet, creator, hero, life and naaaaarchio IPL5 is a prime chance for terran to take revenge.
There are 14 terrans qualified to 23 zergs. That may not be the best distribution for terrans.
Gotta look at the quality not quantity, loads of mediocre zergs while only the finest terrans are there they should be able to clear out most of them.
Loads of mediocre zergs? I don't necessarily disagree. But you fail to mention that there's also the single best zerg on the planet at the moment and that he's looking miles ahead of any of his peers. :>
Yeah life is definitely going to be the one to beat there but if nothing else we can throw top tier terrans HE WILL BLEED DAMNIT.
It's going to be a different environment for him. We gonna have to see if he can perform the same at that stage. But I agree he is going to be one of the most feared opponents for any terran in that tournament. I don't think any of those big terran names will win IPL5, not in this current meta game with so many Zergs even if they are considered worse or less accomplished.

IPL5 is a ways away, we don't know what Life's current form will be by then, he might get complacent because of his victory and not practice as hard, it was not long ago that Taeja was being heralded as the undisputed best player in the world, DRG and Marineking before him earlier this year. Things can change relatively quickly.
Also, Life is a ladder beast, he would handle weekend tournaments just fine.

True but how do you measure the viewers difference? More people tune-in for the later stages and there is no telling that someone tuned-out for lack of terrans. On the other hand the difference a big celebrity can make is likely to be seen very clearly.

matchups >>>> all other matchups. The watchability quality drops when the only matchups left are the bad ones.

Yes, they die. Pretty sure i saw this happen once in a July game vs a terran, he loaded up a massive amount of ling ultra into a nydus and both the entrance as well as the nydus got killed, he instantly dropped like 60 supply or something. Pretty funny.
What a horrible way to go! The poor units are stuck in the belly of a monster deep underground!

Siege tanks are just that bad because map design disfavors them. Some time ago the most important thing on a map was that siege tanks would have no spot they could take advantage of.

Only July could do something like that xD Poor July ;_;

I don't remember that well so please take what I say with a pinch of salt, but I recall that WCS Asia Grand Finals was under 40k concurrent viewers for the last matches, despite Liquid`HerO, PartinG and the newly-affirmed Bison? That's pretty telling to be honest.

It's my master plan to get buffed
That's not gonna happen ever, rofl. Remember Blizzard still thinks the main issue with WoL is "terran deathballs being too strong" ? Hahahaha.
