A Korean who doesn't train or compete in Korea is just a foreigner.

there were only 3 koreans of whom only 1 (thestc) can be considered top. yea he lost which is surprising, but thats about it when it comes to korean disappointments. TheStc hasn't been top for a long time, ever since he joined quantic thestc has been thoroughly mediocre he can beat on the white guys like all Koreans but tbh I wouldn't favour him over any high tier Korean or top foreigner.
I can setup a "biased raged thread on Korea VS foreigner" for you. Then you can go there and have this discussion.

anyone know where i can find the point rankings for dreamhack winter?

Controversy time!
If this was an NA Tournament, Top3 would have been Sage,STC and Rain.
(just friendly banter )

How was that surprising? TheSTC is nowhere near the level of the top europeans like Mana or Nerchio.

I don't care about Korean vs Foreigner only good players I'm just saying thestc has been very unimpressive and underwhelming for a while I dunno what happened he started off being a legit code S contender but now he's at best average still can make decent foreign results but I don't see him pulling off any foreign robbery on puma or forGG scale.

TheSTC has just remained on the same skill level as other players got better.

He played pretty damn well two months ago. But overall I agree, he has been quite mediocre at most tournaments.

just tuned in, saw the results. plz excuse my whine, but seriously: YET another foreign tournament with not a single terran in the ro8? yeah, great. instantly lost all my interest. in particular when I see that it were fraer and bly who knocked out rain and thestc. *sigh*

Are there trolls or just Korean fanbois rage hard? Either way, deal with it, foreigners played better this tournament. European P and Z, especially Z, are really good and always can rival with best of Koreans.
P.S. And don't bullshit me about GSL, foreign players just don't try hard to win this tournament, it is just not profitable for them to wasting time in totally different, uncomfortable enviroment, with a small chances of win and unforgivable rules, when right next to them is a lot of tournaments with big prizepools.

Scarlett is the only NA-player consistently proving to be at Korean level lately tbh. Furthermore I don't understand why so many bring Illusion up before players like Vibe, Goswser, Major etc.
