Feel there is a slight bias here, not sure though. Yeah, but plenty of people like myself lament that the lategame is such a coinflip that depends on one engagement, from both side.
Hopefully HoTS neuters BL/Infestor a bit, considering Zerg are getting other (seemingly) useful units, while getting rid of the Archon toilet against it.

This kind of game makes me sad. I'm a die hard SC2 fan, and though, I can't answer to BW fans criticism about the design of SC2 lategames (except the mirrors... quite).
TvP : Storms make the games (for both sides, hit/miss) TvZ : HSM hit or you die to BL/Festors ZvP : Vortex hit or you lose to BL/Festors
All of this considering players are approximately even in terms of skill.
I don't want to generalize (and I may be wrong) but as a spectator, that's how I feel...

I'm hearing about all these balance changes and i'm loling because the only thing that game proves was what we already knew, that Protoss needs to rely on gimmicks to beat Zerg lategame. You don't have to meganerf Zerg to fix that. Just buff Protoss in someway. For HOTS I personally think the Tempest should have the air to air aoe attack brought back.

I do agree that it would be easier but how? In the end, it all comes down to infestors. But I can't think of ways to properly change it without screwing up other stuff.
