Well he's living in Europe so I guess atm he counts as European kind of like how TLO plays in the Korean qualifiers while he's in Korea.

I suppose that's true. Can't wait to see who's gonna be in the final lineup of players.
And not a single protoss was given that day.

How many players qualify from this?

4 Korean players will be qualified to IEM China.
A little surprised to see Polt attempt to qualify. I thought he was 100% focused on GSL (and IPL5 in the future)?
Noo Polt don't go outside Korea, you'll lose your GSL mojo!
Oops, my bad. Ok, so no DRG or Polt or Clide, yet. But HuK .
Polt apparently signed up now, so did SaSe and several others. "leesak" could be PartinG?

haha, i get it what they mean by faceless koreans ;D
hope we get good players I might be really dumb and have missed it, but if Mvp wanted to go, would he have to qualify? Same with Nerchio?
Byul gogogogo
When are brackets going up? If I'm not mistaken the games were supposed to start at 15:00KST.

Fantastic. That's what I forwarded Chris. I was concerned with it being after 15:00KST that I had made a mistake; I appreciate you following up.

Huk vs TSL.Punisher on stream right now. 0-0 currently. Huk pressuring with a 4 gate to keep Punisher from fast expanding and lock him inside the main.

Huk shat on that terran.... Wasn't expecting that to be honest.

1-0 HuK on to game 2. Map is Ohana
2-0 HuK! Nice warp prism + sentry play to attack the main and forcefield the ramp.

1000 minerals while doing a random timing, man I love protoss players :D GJ nevertheless, take it down mr hukster
Is there any way to tell wether who advanced won or got a walkover? Or on the same note, does an empty bracket slot mean that nobody signed up for that spot, or that whoever it was didn't show up? Just asking because Brown > Symbol is a pretty big upset IMHO.

I think Symbol decided not to play, because that result was almost updated very quickly.

You need to check the matchpage (click on the vs. in the bracket). If the result is 1-0, it is a walkover. Played matches are always entered with their real results.
Ahh I see thank you. Looks like HuK will have a tough opponent regardless of who wins... then again he probably stands a much better chance in PvP.
damn crank even scouted the proxy gates thought he woulda been able to defend...

Does anyone know if Mvp has confirmed to go to Guangzhou yet?
MvP, SuperNova, MC maybe YongWa, Bomber should in theory be invites for stage 3 ? Then they still need to say yes and beat the stage 3 qualifier. MvP for example is already qualified for the World Championship so he could take a break for his health on this one.

Maybe it's actually SinabroPrime and he switched to Zerg! ...a man can dream right?
Caster is doing very good job, I hope more big tournaments invite him in the future. No stupid artificial hype, no bs, very professional
I liked the caster! For some constructive critique: try to be less biased towards players. Could be an issue if you want bigger casterjobs (LANs etc).
YoungHwa over DRG, Yoda over Seed. LG-IM B teamer's so strong!!
what is up with korean zergs deactivating their brain midgame again and again, what a terrible game by shine

Fairly lacklustre game by both tbh, but yeah shine lost himself that one.

You know a team is solid when their b teamers are in code s. *edit* or well, just got knocked out of code s.
Yoda vs Hyun should be great. Do it, caster-man!
Wtf sort out the overlays and stuff before going live with the game. Looks incredibly scrappy otherwise.
How did Nestea beat Seed? Seed give the old man a walk over? Old man went to the IM house and started beating Seed with his cane?
What was the score of Supernova vs. MMA? I know who won, I'm just OCD about having the exact score on LP.
I can't find a way to view the individual scores from that page. Is there a way? edit: nvm, found it, tyvm

Just klick on the "vs" and the match-site is shown.
Zergs are getting torn apart. I wonder if it is the mech-style.

Supernova way overextended there stimming into 3-4 storms. Still, always satisfies me to see a mass-scv pulling nat-bunkering terran get smashed x)

On September 17 2012 18:25 Asha` wrote: lol NesTea beat Seed and MMA back to back. WTF
Well, Nestea has always said that he does good in practice. He even said he did well vs LGIM Ts (Mvp, Yoda, Happy). But these brackets were just IM teamkills all over the place. Lol, then falls to Keen. Guess we have Yonghwa vs Keen rematch of WCG semi incoming. If Yonghwa makes it, 3/4 of the spots will be from SK-LGIM. And I guess Leech Seed doesn't work on teammates.
man this blows, Hyun is my fav zerg (besides Moon) and SuperNova my fav terran (besides ForGG) and they'll have to knock out each other and only one of them can qualify :-( Will cheer for Hyun though.

Sweet, quite some viewers were asking for them @ twitch chat aswell. Much appreciated!
hyun still the king of horrible engagements
man supernova is playing extremely well... too bad for hyun =( wanted to see him @ IEM, he's winning so many online tournaments but i don't think i've seen him doing well else.
Supernova just deciding to not kill him...
haha ha ha if supernova loses this it'll be really his own fault... be ahead 190 vs 110 supply where hyun has near no money to spend => sit and expand the whole map instead of killing hyun.. oh god supernova O_o
