He's definitely a top tier contender - at least Code A level (and Code A people take games off Code S players all the time), or perhaps even good enough to make Code S (time will tell?). 2) I'm sure Hero's nerves must have been going CRAZY. With all that pressure, and Leenock losing right before him, and then losing game 1 - knowing that Hero is already an emotional player who still has nerves issues despite his lengthy tournament experience, I was afraid that all Kespa vs. GSL pressure would totally mess up his play. I'm sure hero will go back and watch some replays of rain to learn after this so you shouldn't worry too much. but isnt Yugioh king of code A and people were just talking about how badly he played it's more of an endearing title than anything really

No, I am pointing it out that even though GSL players are in the WB, they didn't stay there by beating a Kespa player, but A GSL player (who beat a Kespa player). That is meant to show that it wasn't like these WB GSL players stayed there by dominating Kespa. The guys who originally beat Kespa mostly lost this week. Well, it is the biggest upset of the month. I think we can all agree soulkey was the clear favorite coming into this. Clear favorite? What? Just don't fall into such obvious trolls... Considering that the Kespa was on a winning streak and tore through some of the best GSL had to offer... Though I enjoy the games whoever play, and I especially like to see how BW pro figure out SC2 (with a different look at the game considering their BW experience), I can't help but thinking this tournament isn't showing the reality. (Oh and by the way, this is the loser bracket...) The pressure from facing BW pro isn't something that should be underestimated. By the way, I mean, most BW pros playing in WCS has more pro gaming experience than SC2 players only, they have like 4 - 5 years at least (I don't know the scene that much, but the current BW pros are around for some time now, like 2007 - 2008 for those I know). Though it's not SC2 experience, they have practiced mechanics for a much longer time, and can be good not only at BW, but more generally at RTS. Then, even Jaedong stated that he doesn't feel like GOM players are at their highest level, when he played Genius. I think we'll need more time, like let the players know each other side (Kespa or GOM) a bit more, and then see who stay, and who falls. This was the very first cross tournament (the Gom Action ready was quite a farce) between the two groups, I wouldn't be surprised this doesn't show the reality of this transition. Then, Kespa players seem to have reached a skill not that far from GOM players really quickly, and that's promising. I hope it doesn't surpass by far the skill of GOM's when they reach their peak, because as they stated, it's quite stupid if one group is completely ahead of the other, which ever it is, because you end up with far less competitors, and then far less competition... Then, I just want to see the best one(s) win, and get the deserved recognition.

All I'm saying is that "look at WB, lolo" does not make the point they wish it to make. You do realize, though, that by that logic you can always question the legitimacy of any winner or champion because unless they beat every single other player who participated in the tournament, you can be like, "well, you didn't beat my favorite player so-and-so who got knocked out in the Round of 16, so therefore I won't give you credit for doing better than him." Every tournament champion wins by beating only a small percentage of the players at that tournament. We make the winners of each round play each other in the hopes that it means the better players will continue to advance until we find the "best" player. It's more complicated than that and it's not the perfect way to find the "best" player (it depends on how you define that, I guess), but that's the general idea that every sport follows and it's the best system we've got I think.
