and PvZ is boring as shit, yeah. I'd argue it's the worst match-up to watch.

Clearly SK was dealing with meningitis, aids, cancer, herpes, explosive diarrhea, writer's block, camel toe, runny nose and menopause. Otherwise he would NEVER have lost to Hero, the assertion that somehow his play was inferior is absurd.

Any game that goes late game can be ended so easily either way.. such a coin flip end game.. which way does the vortext go basically. Hope HOTS is different for late game PvZ

There was no way for him to lose to Leenock. Hero though, you can never expect him to get 2-0'd by a Zerg, not even Soulkey.

Actually storm dropping, containing, harassing with stargates etc is far less skillful then building a death ball.

I'm only watching for the KeSPA players, but I'll admit the games are at least fairly amusing most of the time, sometimes pretty damn good too lol

Well, it is the biggest upset of the month. I think we can all agree soulkey was the clear favorite coming into this. Clear favorite? What? Just don't fall into such obvious trolls... Considering that the Kespa was on a winning streak and tore through some of the best GSL had to offer...
Well, Hero is a PvZ specialist. He is not always consitant and I can understand if somebody thought Soulkey will take this but saying that Soulkey is a CLEAR favourite is an exaggaration for sure.

You know you are compairing a 14 year old game with a 2 year old. Do you recall how the whining went when bw was 2 years old? Its only natural that a 2 year old is more immature than a 14 year old :p More like that BW was balanced around maps and not balance patching while SC2 is just a patching mess. I love passive aggressive shit like this. What do you mean? As long as Blizzard is active with balance patching there will be balance whine like it has been the past 2 years. There is always going to be balance whine. If they stop patching people will just whine harder. Like with BW? This isn't BW. Hahaha, seriously... What are you even trying to say? Are you just going to respond with sarcastic oneliners? Or are you seriously supposing blizzard should just stop patching the game? Because in both scenario's i'm not quite sure what to tell you, as it's pretty dumb. What are you even trying to say? I pointed out that BW had no balance patching for years and the game was balance around maps. So serious balance whining was pointless. Ofc people will still whine at something being op (LOL VULTURES) but in the end they knew that they had OP shit aswell. You said people would whine harder. You have 10 years of proof that this wouldn't happened. Tbh, I wouldn't mind at all if Blizzard stopped balance patching and let the players figure out the game on its own. Right now they have to much control on how the game should be played which gets boring.

Not like stargate opening gets you ahead by default. Quite the opposite, most often.
then it's outplaying him early game, hence calling it a stargate 'opening' ;-)

I think it's for two reasons. 1) SoulKey played VERY well. He's definitely a top tier contender - at least Code A level (and Code A people take games off Code S players all the time), or perhaps even good enough to make Code S (time will tell?). 2) I'm sure Hero's nerves must have been going CRAZY. With all that pressure, and Leenock losing right before him, and then losing game 1 - knowing that Hero is already an emotional player who still has nerves issues despite his lengthy tournament experience, I was afraid that all Kespa vs. GSL pressure would totally mess up his play.

And we're already seeing this elephant effect? Yeah, you're definitely right. Lol why would you need more than 6 months to adapt to the game especially since you are coming from BW? There has been a countless number of patches and the metagame has evolved a lot, it's not like GSL players practiced the same "game" (in the sense that the metagame evolves as soon as a patch hit for example) 2 years long.

No, Kespa players lost fair and square. But this week they have taken quite the revenge, so to say "look at the WB" is pretty stupid.

Why is ANYONE who is not enjoying watching the game wasting their time and watching this? If Morgan Freeman made a god awful movie I would not watch it. -_-
