Yeah, the "skill cap" (allthough it's not exactly a cap, you can allways become better) is just insane with terrans when you compare it to the other two. Then again when you start counting clear mistakes made by the terran player, not necessarily even micro mistakes but macro, and you'll be hard pressed to find any in Taeja's play unlike Select's.

lol, the Taeja hype has blinded you, Taeja is fucking AMAZING, but he still makes lots of clear macro mistakes, arguably the most mistakes of any of the top Terrans that are close to his skill.

his builds choice are sometimes pretty stupide too. A tad too greedy from time to time.

He has...weird builds at times. 11/14 rax, 14cc into 2rax, 2gas and such. Biggest thing i feel he could still improve on is macro He always floats 1, 1.5k in the mid-game, even though he'll miss SCVs.

Protoss loses as much mining time, his tech and Nexus are delayed and he does not have 2 MULEs to catch up. SeleCT messed up the Zealot follow-up, he handled the Probe part just fine.

Taeja has the undisputed best army control of all terrans in the world.

when it comes to builds and macro, i would say MVP is on a much higher level.

what?

Probes failed, but the Zealot got too many unnecessary kills.

Probes are there to delay the CC and force SCV pull. Terran's econ gets super far behind even though they went CC first because of the lost mining time, where Toss can continue to Chrono Probes and expo because the Terran will have 1 Marine.

That went exactly as Creator needed it to.

Not really, once the CC is finished the Terran can retreat to his main behind his wall. SeleCT lost 5 SCVs because he wanted to bunker on lowground, he could have kept all of them safely at main while waiting enough Marines to go down.

...And he would have had no CC, because the Probes are there to deny the building SCV. Unless you pull SCVs, you can't actually finish the CC. If you bunker on the highground, the Protoss laughs at you and just gets an even earlier expand.

You retreat at main AFTER the CC is complete, isn't it obvious?

I'd actually put Byun above Taeja in terms of army control, but Taeja over Byun in terms of solid play.
