banners?
ie section headers, 'today's matchup' etc
They're called section headers, not banners.
And I've got BR working on the other ones, they're just not ready yet
I think the "stream" header is looking nice. The "today's matchup" and "results" jump up and down to much and give me a headache and when the colour of the letters turns blue towards the end the are really hard to read, because the black borders become hard to distinguish. Might be just me though. Overall I think the style could be a nice change. It looks cheerful and happy ^.^

BR has commented on this himself. Said he thinks the blue is a blue and black bothers him. I'll pass on the msg, thx for the feedback
The only player I consider being favored against Symbol in this group is MC since Squirtle was crushed 3-0 by Stephano, so I'm gonna say : Symbol > Squirtle MKP > MC Symbol > MKP Squirtle > MC Squirtle > MKP

Well, I guess Symbol will win the group and Squirtle has a decent chance to still make it out, as he probably has a decent chance against MKP and I remember his PvP being good enough to be considered the favorite against MC. Who knows, though. The only thing that's for sure is that tomorrows games are going to be awesome.
Edit: I would actually think MKP is the weakest out of the four. Symbol won against him 2-0 in the last group stage and although MKP has great TvP, I think both MC and Squirtle have good chances to win against him (I could see both of them crush him but also lose really badly.). I might be somewhat biased towards Protoss though.
I disagree on a few points there.
MarineKing picking MC was smart. He's got a very good record against MC, plus MC is certainly capable of taking out Symbol (best MU) or Squirtle in a PvP, making it easier for him to advance. You could make an argument that Nestea was a better pick (ZvZ against Symbol, ZvP vs Squirtle) but MKP probably didn't feel as comfortable playing against him.
I don't see how MKP could be considered the weakest of the four. He has very solid track records against everyone in this group. Head to head, I see him slightly favoured against both Toss's and a slight underdog to Symbol.
Here's how marineking gets out of the group: Figure out which way Symbol goes, and make sure MC faces him(Actually, it's better for MKP to win either way). MC probably is prepared to kill a symbol, and Marineking is pretty good at ripping protoss face. So MKP should have some poignant all ins for symbol, and some solid TvP. Otherwise, symbol vs the other toss's getting out is completely a toss up in my mind.

Best case scenario for MKP is obviously if Squirtle beats Symbol first up, so he can dodge Symbol all together. Then MKP has 2x of his best matchup to move on, in which both games he'd feel confident. In this case, even if he loses to Squirtle, MC gets to play his best MU vs Symbol.
There are a few preferable routes for MKP in this group, but even if he does get to go head to head with Symbol, I still give him a fair chance.

Let's be honest here.
No one has a preferable route to making it out of this group. That's why this is the group of death.

It's possible that Squirtle chose Symbol to avoid him in the Ro8 while also eliminating some of his larger threats. Very intelligent pick if that was his intention (although it could backfire TERRIBLY). By picking Symbol, he guaranteed this to be a group of death because everyone picked next would try to hard counter everyone else in the group, and they did.
Symbol chose MKP, who he crushed in the previous round. Squirtle on the other hand is VERY weak against Terran cheese so MKP was the ideal choice. MKP then chose MC, who is arguably one of the best PvZers in the world with his insanely strong timings. He is also a wild card PvP because he is such an unpredictable (and strong) player in that matchup. While on the TvP side, MKP holds the upper hand historically vs MC.
Each pick makes complete sense if you think about it.
Thats how all group of deaths are made though. Theres always that first pick who thinks it'd be a smart move to pick someone strong for whatever reason. The person picked first will then want to secure himself vs someone he is confident against and who's favoured against the person who picked him. The second person picked will do the same for the last pick since MKP think's he's favoured against MC but knows that MC is favoured against Symbol.
So everyone is just trying to hard counter each other. Too bad these people picking messed up somewhere. The bosstoss will advance first and both squirtle and mkp gets sent to code A.

I honestly think he's going to come out firing tonight. Totally expect him to advance first.

I 'feel' like Symbol and MKP might just make it through, but really, any combination of players could go through and I wouldn't be surprised... except for maybe Squirtle and MC, simply because they have to practise all three matchups.
What a truly ridiculous group to have at the rd of 16. What I find so interesting about this group is how much each match will influence the other players in the group. Whilst the opening games are pretty much 50-50, I feel like there is counter system set up for the winners final.
Squirtle > MC MKP > Squirtle Symbol > MKP MC > Symbol
For what it's worth. I think Symbol (winners) and MKP (losers) will advance.
