What's going on in Thorzain/Golden and Socke/Puma?
Thorzain about to lose 0-2 to Golden. Socke Puma is 1-1 on daybreak in a close game.

Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks!

Look at naniwa and compare it to Grubby. Plus Grubby has achieved a lot before and has a pretty good life going so you can't expect him to be as motivated as Naniwa in SC2.

Sometimes I think it's just a way to vent and piss off players of other races by posting provocative, baseless and senseless things and counting on their reaction to tilt them irl or something. And to think, that poll "which league are you in" showed that the most of TL posters are in the master league.. . Yeah its almost as if people on the internet lie about their skill level. At least in reddit its funny seeing high bronze\low GSL level as a description.

I don't know if this is just my imagination but nearly always when I see Grubby playing a bo3 I see him playing one fantastic map, one mediocre and an absolute trainwreck. But well he is a fighter I hope he can get his tournament win this year.

Shame for him he didn't win any series but I imagine he learnt a lot from these losses. hardest or not, he was playing no better than InC in previous seasons imo 4 Code S player and a Code B Korean in his best matchup, followed by Select in TvP. I'm not saying Grubby played well but I think a lot of good player would get destroyed in this situation. Agree but this were pretty bad games from Grubby, i dont know what it is with him. First he played good at winter arena, 2 weeks after that he just played flat out terrible. Last week at Lonestar he played really really good but today en yesterday he's falling back again with wasting units, forgetting to scout or prope up etc. Im getting kinda worried tbh.

Different games, different metas, different times. Grubbys still learning. Give him time. You'll see the same seemingly odd variance of results when brood war pros switch over. Some of them will take to it like a fish out of water and perform amazingly and some of them will be a shadow of there former selves.
