Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament.
Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool.
Thanks!

I don't want to be accused of balance whine but...

banshee unit design really is the dumbest thing in this game

I am as biased of a Terran as it gets, and I love Puma's TvP, but I really want Socke to win this. Doesn't look like he will though, but I hope I am wrong and Socke manages to win it.

Different games, different metas, different times. Grubbys still learning. Give him time.

You'll see the same seemingly odd variance results when brood war pros switch over. Some of them will take to it like a fish out of water and perform amazingly and some of them will be a shadow of there former selves.

He's had MORE than enough time, that's not a valid excuse at all.

Just because both played Wc3 does not mean they need to be equally good at sc2, what kind of logic is that?

I'm pretty much unbeatable in tic-tac-toe, solid in roshambo and decent at hide-and-seek. Somehow still haven't broken through in Starcraft 2 somehow. :/

Puma's bio is wrecking Socke's armies. Socke is trading very inefficiently, and I think he is going to lose soon.

so i've narrowed it down, and i'd say that of the starcraft commentators the title of 'hardest' probably goes to djwheat in a close race against tasteless

actually it might not even be that close. djwheat is a gangster

Shit, socke vs puma is so close. constant trading @ 130-160 supply. Socke securing 6th base, puma still on 4.

Grubby has not been underperforming at all considering his history.

He can really hang out with top foreigners and does reasonably well. He may not be top tier foreigner yet but I really think he has the potential. I just feel he lacks some drive on SC2.

No foreigners can do consistently well against Koreans atm. Even Huk who was one of the few is doing so hot atm.

Drive. Look at naniwa and compare it to Grubby. Plus Grubby has achieved a lot before and has a pretty good life going so you can't expect him to be as motivated as Naniwa in SC2.

I think you're right. Nani appears to be very determined and very hungry for success. Nani actually believes he can be the greatest SC2 player. and at the same time, he's having fun working his way up.

Watching interviews of Grubby, i simply do not see that same fire, drive and passion that Nani has.

Also, "different metas"... ??

BS, enough time? He's only playing for a year. He's a year behind most guys.

I thought SeleCT was american .

SeleCT ended the debate. If you watch his interview he said he is Korean because he just spent the last 3 months training in korea

He also said Huk was Korean.

I got flamed for 4 pages last time I brought it up but I agree. >.>

Thats because you dont include people like haypro, jinro, desrow, etc as korean even though they are in the same situation >.> only when huk wins he's korean :D

Just use unbeatable for naughts and crosses. If you're pretty much unbeatable you're doing it wrong.
