Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

I think it's tiresome, but I just mute the stream as soon as a game ends, then tab back after a few minutes. Yea at the RedBull LAN it sprang into my ear that he always said that. That made me think about who in TV does that and I only know that US newsguys do that. Here in Germany they maybe say it once but it is like after every comercial break they would start "Hello I am XXX and u are probably watching me for 3 hours now but just incase you tuned in I am XXX". I would rather like to have overlays who just say "Sean "Day[9]" Plot - Commentator - www.day9.tv".

I have a bigger problem with the terrible dubstep being played during pauses. Day9 saying who he is has never been an issue to me.

Damn Koreans look so damn invincible in SC2.It is totally not comparable with foreigners. DRG,MKP,Parting are my pick to win this tournament but the favourite is definitely DRG.

I just wish day[9] would stop saying that everything is INCREDIBLE. Same with tasteless.

Heart basically lives because he knows the 1/1/1. Ostojiy apparently all ins 2/3 of his games which provokes countercheese (by Demuslim for example), YaTa cheesed his way through people like Destiny, Crazymoving has shown his share of all ins, Parting vs Rain was two all ins just like a whole lot of other series and so on... I dunno, haven't been the prettiest games so far. Best series was Oz vs aLive imo. From the side of the players coming from the open bracket it makes sense to opt for plenty of 1- or 2-base all-ins. They have to win so many games to even reach the pools/championship bracket, that any player would get severely fatiqued if they would only play for longer games. Taken into account the amount of games and series that Heart had to win to even reach pool-play, his 5-0 in the pools is very impressive to me, regardless of how he won those series. He did show decent macro play as well, such as his game vs socke and his games vs ret. some just judge players based on the fact he won against huk with a 1/1/1 -_- Two 1/1/1s. His TvP consists of two builds: the 1/1/1 and this reactored 2 rax thing. If he plays standard vs Socke that's... cool? But he's beating people who are better than him just by cheesing. I myself would rather watch a HuK vs DRG semifinals because the games would probably be better. Heart's only chance to beat DRG is to cheese him to death while HuK would put up a better fight. So one semifinal series will probably be unattractive already just because Heart knows how to cheese... great. And then you have Parting vs MKP which could be a GSL final series. That's the kind of game I wanna see, not some cheese / one sided slaughter. Heart is far more legit than a player such as Huk who is invited to almost all foreign tournaments and gets freepass to code S after falling to code B. Heart only has GSL to play... If he dropped down to code B he would disappear, no foreign tournament organizers would invite him again, no kor team would pay for the travel. In other words, it's time for people like you to understand how privileged foreign players are in Starcraft 2 and show some respect to people like Heart. Far more legit? You do realize that huk was never invited to code S. He was invited to code A and secured his place to code S. He also won an mlg (which would have given him a code S spot if he was not already in), coming out of a group with hero, july and MC to then beat MKP and MC again....
And also, heart is a complexity player, one of the richest teams in SC2, if he is good enough, they will pay for his travel to tournaments.

Okay now I know you're trolling. Yes violet is better than heart but HuK isn't better than heart. If you saw those games, which I'm guessing you didn't, you could clearly see that the games that heart won he clearly outplayed HuK in every aspect. The games that heart lost, he jut made some crucial mistakes. You're letting your fanboyism cloud our judgment.

1) I did. First game 1/1/1 on metalopolis, HuK threw it because he thought he had it after the first wave. Second game on Antiga, Heart did his reactored 2rax, failed to do damage and lost terribly to a colossus push. Third game proxy 4 gate vs 1/1/1 on Entombed Valley. Basically if Huk hadn't taken it easy after the first wave on metal, it would've been 2-0. If he had expanded on Entombed, he would have held as well. Heart didn't outplay HuK. Huk just made two mistakes that cost him two games. 2) Lol, crucial mistakes yeah. It's pretty hard to keep up if the only things you can do are rush builds. 3) I'm no HuK fan son, I said that a couple times already.
Really violet should have been coming out of this group in first place.
And what did I tell you, Heart trying to cheese DRG. Huge surprise here!

1. Heart is more skilled than HuK. It would be an upset if he beat Heart. To people like you, every time a Korean beats a foreigner it's an upset because again, fanboyism clouds your judgement of good play versus bad play. 2. Who the fuck wouldn't try and cheese DRG?

Are you retarded? I've seen HuK playing since forever and I've seen pretty much all that could be seen from Heart and yeah... Huk is better. Your argument is that I'm a fanboy for foreigners? Lol, my argument is based on game analysis. I don't care about where people are from. Go watch the Up/Down matches. Heart got destroyed, HuK stood a chance and only dropped out because of map score I think. Soo... no. It wouldn't be an upset if Huk beat Heart. Well, people who are actually skilled would try to take on DRG in a standard game. People have beaten DRG in standard games.
Also. DAAAAMN Socke is is on a killing spree.

MKP is so freaking good.. holy shit.

Socke is probably going to die to HuK now but either way, he has really impressed me today. PuMa, DeMusliM, TheStC and CrazymovinG.
