As soon as he reneged on his word and qualified for GSL Open Season 3, and there was a big mess about it I thought he'd learn his lesson, but apparently not. The least he could do is come out and SAY that he's going back on his word and playing in tournaments again, rather than just doing it. The only reason his invite should disgust anyone is that Playhem tried way to hard to overcompensate bad pr. Accepting a free ride to a tournament where you supposedly have lots of fans should hardly be considered returning to pro status.

If you'd like however, I'd be happy to talk to some friends of mine at various eSports news outlets and arrange some interviews for Dragon to officially announce his return to professional gaming. Dragon never left professional gaming, so there's no return to announce. I'm more than capable of setting up interviews as well, please don't be disrespectful and elitist about this whole thing. You're really condescending. This is exactly what I meant when I tweeted about your BM regarding the whole incident with TeamLighT a couple of weeks ago. Players like Dragon and people who work for e-sports, such as myself, are trying to make this community a better place by trying to capture more fans and love towards gaming, and there are rude people like you who constantly engage in BM by shutting other people down. Please don't act like you're better than everyone else because your manner makes you a lot less respectable. I don't really know why I have to explain this again, but I'll write in more detail behind Playhem's decision to sponsor Dragon for this event. Originally the plan was for Quantic to ask both Playhem and Dragon if Dragon would rather attend the Lone Star Clash event instead of IPL4. I approached Playhem regarding this possibility, and it was noticed that there was only a two week gap between the two events. Playhem suggested that they would further sponsor Dragon, and Dragon agreed that he would represent Playhem in the event. This works out for both Dragon and Playhem; it exemplifies that despite controversy, both sides are willing to work together and it further promotes the teamwork required in general for e-sports to succeed as a whole. If you were a pro-gamer trying to establish your name and needed to enter a lot of tournaments in order to prove yourself, and someone was willing to trust you and sponsor you, would you not accept that chance? What would you rather have Dragon do, ask his fans for money to attend tournaments? Because that seems like what you're implying. I think that's even more ridiculous.

What controversy is there between which tournament Dragon should attend? His spot in the IPL will be in the open bracket, and with the talent that isn't even seeded in that tournament he will likely not be able to advance. So chances of seeing him there are little to none. This tournament, its almost disappointing because we could have possibly had someone better than him playing in it. What would even make you consider that I think Dragon should ask his fans for money to come to these tournaments. The thing is before the drama even happened he showed no interest in doing these events. It would be stupid on his behalf to decline the offer. Its just seems silly for Playhem to bandage bad pr by doing this. The thing is anyways, if he did have a fan base that wasn't crazed with drama, his fans probably would have paid to have him play in a tournament. We've sent a player before. I hope Bonk in a future cast takes note of what happens after this event, and makes a joke about Keen. So we can have the opportunity to see some of his ceremonies stateside.

and they both qualified through the NA qualifier... what is going on??? [\sarcasm] But sarcasm aside, I'd still like to see some S-class players.

A few months ago I found Dragons stream during a boring day, and wow was I amazed. As a newcomer to the Starcraft 2 community, I was really amazed. I got hooked instantly. He is so humorous, creative and talented, he really is one of a kind, both as person and player. During these months, I've come to know Dragon, even if he doesn't know me, and I can tell you all right now, without hesitation, that he is one of the greatest guys I know of, so humble and entertaining. He treats his fans very well, and his opponents likewise. His fanbase is the most amazing fanbase I know, and I really know, I am a mod on his stream. Everyday hundreds of people gather in his chat, while the stream is offline, and just that is really something. Dragon has thousands of people behind him, thousands of loyal fans. I beg of you to leave the past in the past, forgive what has happened and move on, as many others have done. Stay open-minded, and I promise you, you will see dragon in a new light. Let the guy play and prove himself.

Then I was mistaken, I figured since the tournament was already announced you would have already had the list of players finished. Not rushing to finish the list in the last few days of announcing players. So the announcements are not only fun for the fans but for the organizers as well. Great choice of picking up Dragon to the player pool! But it makes me really sad when I see things like: "Is the pickup questionable?" "Dragon replaces someone who has actually earned the spot." You can't really judge a person just by reading untrustworthy sources. If you really want to know someone better I highly suggest you to turn on in his stream and see how he actually really works for eSports. Please don't prejudice someone if you don't really know him. Players with such a big dedication and love for eSport and Starcraft II should be also considered too. He interacts with his fans, he is really funny and even with his "poor" english he showed us that he loves the community and eSports. And of course we love Dragon! And who said that Dragon is not good enough? He held the first place on Grandmaster #1 for almost a whole season! He recently beat ToD in a convincing bo3 in the MSI Pro Cup. He beat many strong GM Koreans on the Playhem Dailies! Please don't misunderstand dragon. To the incident: It was from 2010. From 2010! Please let the past be the past! As I'm a huge fan of Dragon I will be cheering for Dragon and hope for a nice and pleasant tournament. Good Luck to everyone and thanks to Playhem again for Sponsoring Dragon.
