Yeah stopping the upgrades was really big!
However I think the reason most people whine about ultras is that, for example when I was playing a game, I had 20 ghosts and killed 10 ultras while they were running towards my army and they all died before they got a hit off =P
Ultras are good but not when you keep making them trying to break a terran defensive position and this is what happens alot. A terran gets behind because he gets caught offguard by quick ultras but then zergs feel so good they keep smashing ultras in a defensive position and lose. My practice partner always goes ultra ling infestor and transitions into broodlords, really good.
This. But, for some reason, many Zergs seem to think that you should be able to build Ultralisks, engage in awful positions and still win. Ultralisks are large melee units, so obviously leading them into chokes defended by mass ranged units will result in a painful death... Unless you're massively outnumbering your opponent, of course.
DRG's mental strength is frightening. MMA was about to kill him and showed his power with the hellion which just didn't die. But one does not toy around with DongRaeGu.

Quoted for truth
does quoting yourself for truth really emphasize anything?
It just shows how much brain power hes using, considering it was 3-0 for MMA and if DRG lost that game there wouldnt be any more maps.
Brag-quoting yourself to show how right you are is the biggest non-bannable thing in this forum that pisses me off. It's so dumb. I don't know any of you, and I don't really care if you can predict, however vaguely, a match is going to turn out.

If MMAs tank drop was ballsy I dont even know how to describe DRGs decision to send all his lings for a counter attack. It was seriously just 3 queens and 3 spines against 5 marauders with stim + 6-8 hellions?
he could of had one hellion to defend the base. or a few units IMO

would you rather him say. "these games are terrible and boring"? His job is to entertain and get people to watch, talking shit about the games being played will just make people want to leave.
Looking at MMA play makes me sick in the stomach, even though I'm originally a Terran player.
People complaining that T is weak in lower levels... just need to shut up and learn to play from this guy. The slightest of buffs will make top Terrans invincible.

What do you do to stop marauder hellion? It seems super powerful, and almost impossible to stop if played perfectly.
He was attacking.. there were 3 spines with 3 queens consistently transfusing the weak one, idk what game you're wtaching

Because people on TL think any zerg strat with lings is the "stephano" build... Just like any strat with infestors was the "Destiny" build for a while.
Ling infestor, fast double upgrades into Ultalisk? That is totally Stephano style. Mixing banes is different, but the core idea of not spending your gas on muta's and getting invincible lings is still the same.

No but the timing of the upgrades and the hive, then the transition to ultras it's Stephano typical style

Not as ballsy, he saw MMA's whole army there and calculated that he could defeat it with what was there. MMA was just hoping DRG would screw up.

Eh, it was pretty much exactly the same build as Stephano uses. Until late game where he went banelings, you can't really say 3 banelings early game makes it very different.
