I cant wait to see what DeMuslim can do in Korea. There's been so many visa issues, which have limited his access but he is a complete BEAST

Also just having viking dominance and pushing into bio tank can work as well. It definitely wasnt a good choice to go BCs after getting so far ahead with mech

Switching to BC's isn't exactly getting more ahead, whenever Artosis is quoting it's usually in reference to securing a bigger economic lead. If he didn't get extra ports, fusion core and building BC's, he would've maxed out earlier or even get more upgrades for his mech and pushing forward even more until MKP is stuck either @ his 2nd or 3rd base.

He had his half of the map and you get overextended if you try to secure additional bases with a slow, immobile army like that. It's a one-punch type army and in my opinion the advantage should have been used to secure some ground and, as I said, to isolate the vulnerable third base. Always playing "when ahead get more ahead" blindly is extremely one-dimensional and is going to lose you games. It's just to remind new players to not 1a suicide their entire armies, it doesn't mean you need to give the opponent a chance to catch up .

However, after his code A run through the qualifiers and one game away from code S, I'm happy that I no longer have to worry about Boxer when he loses. I no longer am afraid of him fading away into obscurity after being outclassed by a mechanically superior progamer. Boxer's actually good. He'll be around. I'm happy to be able to say I think, not just hope, that Boxer will get through the up and down matches. Boxer will get into code S. I'm going to quote this because I think more people need to see it instead of circle-jerking in despair. Was that last game heartbreaking? Absolutely. However, Boxer's run through Code A this time around has shown he is here to stay.

He got a 4th base, split his army up and tried defending the 4th and 3rd which were way apart all whilst teching to BC's. That's where he lost the game. MarineKing picked off his small defensive armies at his expansions whilst Boxer was out of position, it's such a big distance between the two expansions that it was pretty impossible to stop . Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I just would've loved seeing him win so it frustrates me!

But turtling wasn't getting him an economic lead, it was just diminishing it because it allowed MKP to get his bases up as well and catch up in supply. There was literally a point in the game where boxer could close his eyes and shift queue a move through MKP and there was nothing he could do about it.
