I dont think the extra ports were a bad idea. Getting the fusion core and BCs definatly was. In the time he took to get out that 1 BC before the first big fight he couldve gotten out 2 ravens each with a PDD. That fight wouldve looked VERY different with 2 PDDs instead of 1 BC.

Yes as I mention if would've been better to skip the BC tech switch and he would've got a max army a lot quicker and just attack, with mech you attack at max and not sit back and get more bases. Rather attack at max expanding behind it if you want. However I must say Boxer's Hellion harrass during that was quite good.

Boxer went battle cruisers a little bit prematurely and lost as a result. Disappointing considerign how well he played to get to that point.

I don't think ppl realize that boxer was up mostly in workers and not in army supply. I think he realized he killed Mkp scvs and wanted to cash in on mkps lack of good income

Great games by BoxeR. Though he lost the series, he definitely showed himself to be extremely competitive, and it certainly wasn't the rolfstomp that some people were projecting it to be

You are wrong, even on d2, the term was constantly used..well in fact, it was "WTT" for wanting to trade. But this is pretty much the same logic. This term is really old.

the bcs werent the issue as much as complacency was. i know the natural inclination with mech is to just defend defend defend, but after boxer killed off mkps 2nd timing he was up like 70 supply AND a base. he could have been 5 seconds late with tank seige and still beat mkps army at that point. the bcs were a folly as well, but at that point he had already let mkp back in the game.

i didnt see the games, but judging from the results, he seems to be kind of off his skilllevel when jetlagged more than most other people are.
