AoE is the only thing cost effective protoss have. They can't be cost effective like terran and can't have an economic lead like zerg. so, they do gimmick play ^^

And even then hungun was holding with pure blink stalker against way bigger zerg armies. I don't know how you can say hydra/ling is good against blink stalkers, when HongUn held like 3 attacks, until he got eventually overrun by 5base (one in gold) zerg economy, while not even fully saturating his 3bases... Hungon's blink might as well been normal stalkers, also he far outmatched the hydra's, and your blink stalker only goes if both are equal income and you actualy blink properly, if not Hydra's keep the blink stalker amount low and zerglings tank and flank. Perfect counter.

I'm a big HongUn fan and I myself thought he would drop to U/D. But whatever, if GSL has taught us one thing, it's that anyone can apparently beat anyone. I'm just saying don't act like HongUn is out of Code S, he has probably a 65% chance at least of staying in. I just hope that HongUn crushes Sage.

Funny. Let's break it down. MvPNoblesse: He's beaten HerO and stuff, easily HongUn's toughest possible opponent. Puzzle: Shown to be decent at PvP, but HongUn has beaten MC. Keen: Keen has shown good TvP, HongUn has also shown good PvT. Zenio: HongUn has beaten him before. Zenio's weakest match-up is ZvP. sC: sC hasn't shown anything impressive TvP. GuMiho: Not shown anything impressive TvP YuGiOh: Beat HerO, but that's it JYP: Lost to Oz, who, if tgun and others are to be believed, isn't great at PvP. Oz: FXO says he's not great at PvP Lucky: I honestly don't know. Maybe? Sage: Supposedly terrible at PvP.

That said, all these random Zerg theorycrafters calling HongUn terrible because he didn't "transition into Colossus after forcing Hydras" are just projecting their own terrible play onto Losira. The fact that you lose to stuff like that on the ladder doesn't mean shit. HongUn would have NEVER been allowed to take a third if he had to wait for Colossus tech to kick in. He did very well, considering the situation he was in. He probably could've gone to the lategame with perfect engagements every time, but alas, it was not to be.

Have some respect and critique a person's play without calling them all the synonyms in the book for "bad." And this is especially true for the great bronze-diamond level analysists.
