It will be funny to see TvT from now on in code S. And from time to time Tv something else. The only scary thing is that we have hit major patch now and dunno how long will take blizzard to realize ghosts are a bit strong in a good hands.

there's actually a slight chance huk'll be the only protoss in code s next season. I dont see hongun/genius/killer making it through to the next round, and i dont think its unimaginable for them to go 0-2 in their groups as well..

His ZvT looked much better this time around. We really only got to see one game between the two of them, and this time it'd be a bo5 I think Nestea can do it!

There's this patch... it's coming out tomorrow for the server GOM is played on.... It's kind of hush hush right now, but I'm not afraid to let you in on the secret.

Damn that immortal range increase and increased mothership acceleration would have surely changed the tide of battle!

I agree, nestea looked unstoppable and hes had that extra time to prac since getting knocked out in ro16 (i think? ...) last season. His ZvT looks better then its ever been. Wouldnt be suprised if he can win his 4th GSL title

yeah you have to take mirror matchups out of the picture if you want it to make sense

code A/code S individual matches combined:

protoss win vs t 5 loss vs t 10 win vs zerg 7 loss vs zerg 12

Also the first logic is stupid, 4 Terran were going to be eliminated 100%, so you can ignore MarineKing, Ensnare, Nobelesse and NaDa because those groups had so many terran one or two of them had to lose, only terran who actually had a fighting chance but lost instead of a Zerg or Protoss is Keen instead of NesTea (or you can even say NaDa instead of NesTea, but same difference)
Also if you look at group D 2 Terran 1 Protoss 1 Zerg, Terran got 1,2, so I'd say Terran is doing extremely well, only losing where it's a Terran or a Terran moving on.
so Protoss so far has 33% winrate vs terran and 36% winrate vs zerg, but keep in mind that many of those matches come from series that are lost for the p in the end (2-1 series)

I think that both hongun and genius will go through and killer will stay code S. Hongun is awsome despite what people may think of him and Genius has one of the easier groups. Yes, Happy, Jjakji and Leenock are no walkovers...but if we compare this to DRG, Polt and Taeja, which are the players that Killer has to face...uhh

I think Genuis has a chance, but I don't think Hongun will make it out of his group and killer is probably going to the up&downs.

I hope you are right, I want one of the remaining protosses to win this season just to make everyone a little bit happier about all the other protoss.

Bomber has a good chance too let's not forget he beat DRG pretty convincingly. And yeah. In a couple seasons, probably no Protoss in Code S. Only hope we have is if MC goes super saiyan and wins code S in MLG.

So is HuK considered the best Protoss in the world right now? Looking at that group, looking at Protoss's recent results, looking back at HuK's group - I have to feel he is favored.

There's basically no argument for Huk being the best. If were talking recent results in Korea then Hongun or Puzzle have better results, if were talking all time best results then obviously it's MC.

Huk basically gets really easy groups then loses to the first good player he plays, see July, Bomber, MVP and MC.

he beat nada last season. Seriously what are you talking about?
