No kidding. Let's see . . . bunker rushed Nestea on Bel'shir to 2-0 a 3 time champ. Aside from Game 1, MVP crushed Top, yeah he still took 1 game off MVP but that's not saying much at all when you have a bo7.

It would've helped Huk defeat the first push which could've allowed him to get a bigger advantage. Huk also would've taken less damage with his guardian shields up in that first engagement. Can't just single out one point in the game and say that it wouldn't have made a difference.

That means if u do not consider nestea it would be 100% non-terran eliminated. Oh My God!

We really only got to see one game between the two of them, and this time it'd be a bo5 ![]() I'm a huge Nestea fan but I disagree to some extent. The thing is Nestea's ZvT has always been good relative to other zergs. There has yet to be a zerg equal or greater than him in this area except for DRG. I think the reason for that is that he's generally more intelligent and his macro is just flat out better. He has more drones than the other zergs do. However, his style today is the same as it's always been, rock solid defense coupled with drone whoring into leaning on my opponent with ridiculous amounts of units. Same as most zergs but better. Though I didn't take the AoL matches too seriously, I got excited at the fact that perhaps he was adopting the aggressive DRG/July style where you maybe apply a little roach pressure and then bombard your opponent with muta/ling/bling. I thought maybe the AoL games were a preview of this new style for him minus the bad engagements and poor decisions in that series. So basically, I think that perhaps Drg/July caught on to a potentially better way to play zvt but Nestea would likely execute it better than either of them. So I'm a tad disappointed, as I think that his zvt has not improved significantly as expected. Still, those were just two bo1 and he's only got zvt to prepare for almost the entire tournament so maybe he's still got a few tricks :D.

Yes I did see the game... did you? The second engagement was just badly played by Huk, honestly. Throughout the game the new range would've been huge, the first push would've been won more convincingly and in the second one that would've allowed him to not lose so many stalkers. Let's wait a little before QQing, ok? In any case it's ridiculous to say the patch makes no difference when the whole idea when defending a 1/1/1 is to try to reach the tanks with immortals...

Yeah but virus losing his first push getting completely raped wasn't badly played. Im saying the marines were more the problem than the immortals not hitting tanks (even tho they killed most tanks except for 1). Immortal range might have helped but i dont see it being a big game changer especially in that game.

What Huk seems to do is put down many gates, tech, make probes, and make nexuses until he has the production and tech he needs plus the economy to support it. He uses light amounts of units compared to other protosses and lots of cannons with great simcity to keep himself alive until he is ready to really start massing units an push out on the map to take his 4th. He is able to take a 3rd faster than other protoss because he sets up simcity between the 2nd and 3rd with lots of cannons and gates, basically extending his main base to his 3rd. This is hard to explain as it isn't necessarily a unit comp but rather a game management style, I hope this made sense >.>
