Alright, its truly time to stop whining. Stop caster bashing also. Be warned. |

I wish TL would overload again just so I could see it. Should have just opened a new tab instead of refreshing.

(Relevance: TL just went down for a minute) yeah lol, was it ddos or just traffic anyone know? Guessing traffic. If someone was maliciously attacking TL I doubt it would've only been down for like 30 seconds.
i dunno r1ch is that good
Edit: though if it was just traffic that's a good thing, hooray for esports growing!

Not saying Choya is bad, but ToD himself said that his own endurance is kind of shitty.

Take drewbie as an example, he lost all of his matches, but took games off of a number of good players.
I personally feel like Drewbie is a bit of a different example, the guy is generally very consistent, but the sudden burst of skill at MLG has really put him on the back-foot, he still manages to stay competitive but can't close out a series. At Dallas he was 3-0 in his group, there's even an interview with Josh Suth where they joke about the possibility that the player from the open bracket could come through and ruin his day, little did they know... that was Naniwa, who swept the group 4-0. Then at Columbus he went 1-2 in almost all his matches.
inControl doesn't really show strong performances in most tournaments these days, I don't even see him play in most online events either because he doesn't qualify or doesn't want to. I just don't see him belonging in the championship pool.

Yes, Tyler did after finishing 16th and 19th, which, being seeded is pretty damn bad. So it's POSSIBLE, but very unlikely, just like I said.
Also for every MLG you manage to finish top 20 and keep your seeding it's harder and harder for people coming from open to take your sport. If a random guy came from open this MLG he would have to finish at least 7th to be seeded for next MLG while Machine might very well be seeded again next time.

He has to fight through Select, Slush, Kiwikaki then MMA. Then it's only 5 rounds remaining!

I feel like it really changes at the start of each season, where the points only count for the first event and for the second they go purely by placing from the first event.

I think the assumption is that if you top 16 the first event you are deserving of some protection. But, obviously the skill levels have jumped quite a bit since Dallas.

In my opinion a tournament should be fair where the best player wins. That is not the case at the moment.
