I haven't seen a scenario where MvP for instance interrupts MCs interview in the Finals of a GSL. Point is a bit of trash-talk is all good and fun, but as I said earlier it should be kept at a reasonable and mature level. Besides Idra trashtalking morrows zerg is really getting old and uncalled for.

I watch a lot of SC2 and these Code A players are fairly owning the Europeans and Americans...
This is not a racial thing, just a regime (see Glade's success already..). Hopefully NASL will change this a bit for the Americas. I think most of the guys who've gone to Korea have said the same (IdrA, TLO) that it's about how you live/practice just SC2. I think we'll see a lot more foreign players deciding to live together to get that environment (Idra/Inka/Machine, CatZ/Drewbie and I think a couple of the fnatic guys). And we'll see the gap stay fairly close between those types of players and the Koreans. However, additional to this. To be better you have to play against the best. So I think it will be a while before the level is raised outside of Korea
This is true. Even if things like the NASL, MLG, and Dreamhack make it feasible to copy the korean model in the US/EU it will take a few years for it to get going before everyone catches up. The best thing to do would be to just acknowledge the skill gap and get better. I think it is important to have players in korea, and koreans in foreign tournaments though, or the scenes will just become isolated again and the foreign scene will stagnate.

Well yeah, players can decide for themselves if they are to be mannered, or idiotically miserable. But if they chose the latter, then expect to have fewer fans and more haters. IdrA doesn't seem to care, that's ok. Problem solved. Now what is the purpose of his fanboys explaining how his stupid behaviour makes him superiour or sth ? I can understand idra but his fans around here ...

IdrA calls it as it is (or he sees it) and doesn't care about being politically correct, and that's his own choice. People seem to be trying to force being politically correct onto players, which I think is very boring and just no necessary.
Political correctness has nothing to do with it being okay interrupting a live interview on stage. It shows a lack of respect to the interviewer, player, organization, and event. If it was some random person interrupting he'd be thrown out out of 99% of the events no matter what he said. If it was done to Idra he'd think the guy interrupting him was an asshole.
Trash talking your opponent before and after a match is VASTLY different than interrupting interviews no matter what he said.

yes i agree. players have a right to criticize their fellow competitors, while hopefully maintaining a level of decency and professionalism. I was simply stating that the players do make statements such as "I dont think he is very good" on camera, and it is put on the live stream, as someone blindly claimed otherwise.

Maybe Idra yelled out something like "go back to terran!" No Idea really though

Please stop bullshitting about political correctness. It was hilarious. And even if Idra was actually being disrespectful and yelled something, which I doubt, then TLO shut him down perfectly. On stage. Be satisfied.

On March 03 2011 21:34 The KY wrote: So I wasn't watching...what all this about IdrA?
Morrow lost. So in the loser interview, TLO was interviewing Morrow saying " Although you lose here, you are still one of the very top players in the world"
At that point, TLO started bursting into laughter and said " shut up idra".
So people are assuming that IdrA said something/interrupted when TLO said Morrow is a top player.
