TLAF-Liquid`Jinro < Xel'Naga Caverns > FOXMoon
Jinro goes for same thing, Moon does the same, tries a sneak nydus that doesn't do enough damage, can't get mutas in time, gg's after losing army.
TLAF-Liquid`Jinro< Blistering Sands > FOXMoon

EGIdra < Blistering Sands > IMmvp
MVP goes for some early aggression that is repelled by IdrA, goes marines and tanks off two bases. Pushes towards IdrA's back rocks around 90 food. IdrA surrounds from both sides with mass roaches.
EGIdra < Steppes of War > IMmvp
MVP goes for fast marines and scv push. IdrA doesn't scout in time, can't defend the push, then gg's.
EGIdra < Metalopolis > IMmvp
MVP has some early aggression that doesn't do much. Goes into long game that eventually IdrA wins.

choyafOu < Steppes of War > CheckPrime.WE
Some rush.

choyafOu < Xel'Naga Caverns > CheckPrime.WE

SlayerS_`BoxeR` < Delta Quadrant > PoltPrime.WE
BoxeR attacks early with marines and hellions, Polt is taken by surprise and gets behind. Polt tries to fight back with an attack of his own. BoxeR miraculously defends, Polt gg's.
SlayerS_`BoxeR` < Blistering Sands > PoltPrime.WE
Polt gets outplayed.
SlayerS_`BoxeR` < Jungle Basin > PoltPrime.WE

Rofl, I've never seen such a detailed prediction before. XD

Its hard to branch away from my Wc3 favoritism. However I think Jinro has a great shot at winning this series. I'm more nervous for Idra.

The oddsmakers have Idra/Jinro doing worse than I thought.

Idra got a decent break with his map pool so I think he has a legitimate shot though it will be extremely difficult.

I have no idea why Moon is the fav over Jinro that much.

moon is a grizzled veteran. jinro is a relative newcomer and is susceptible to nerves.
the odds could also be a result of betting trends

I don't see idra winning any of the sets. Don't forget that IMMVP has Nestea as his training partner and Nestea went undefeated until facing Foxer in the finals. Also, do keep in mind that IMMVP didn't train with Nestea before the matches with oGs.Zenio and that MVP has sure learned his mistakes from that game and surely he's corrected them. Terrans now have a more options as Polt reintroduced the early reaper harrass and Foxers innovative Marine strategies. Idra was always considered to be a "Macro Player" but even on SC1 he had trouble keeping his minerals under 1000 on two bases. IMMVP has superior macro/micro to idra and actually played in a vast amount of Pro Televised matches. Whereas Idra didn't (Excluding the games with Stork, July) which he lost btw. I really would love to see a foreigner move on but statistically idra doesn't stand much of a chance. He's also had a weak bracket and that protoss who could have easily wraped up the game but chose to be greedy was rather painful to watch. Even Artosis mentioned "He has no brain" lol I hope the best for Idra but don't see him advancing.

Liquibet shows odds in huge favor of the koreans over the top foreigners...guess it comes to show the skill difference across realms.

Jinro seems more even on skill level for Moon (just because I don't think Moon is still banking in the time yet for SC2), but IdrA's maps are more doable.

I wonder why Check is so favoured over choya. Sure, Check is good, but he's not on the same level as Nestea or Fruit, and the first two maps are Steppes and DQ...I think choya is good enough to put him away 2-0 on those maps, but apparently the Korean community doesn't agree.

I'm really shocked by the betting odds against our foreigners.

I really don't think Moon is that good, and I don't think mvp is such a firm favourite over IdrA, ZvT is his best MU after all.

I voted for IdrA but MVP has a 300 point lead over everyone on the ladder. If IdrA wins these, the games will have to be epic beyond anyting so far.

gogogogo Idra and Check!

Though I wouldn't be toooooo mad if Check loses, it'd be awesome to see some Toss advancement

I haven't been all that blown away by Moon's play so far

Am I missing something, or is it more that Jinro is still largerly an unknown quantity in GSL?

Speaking of our favorite Liquid players, HuK is currently streaming, this helps with the wait until the games start! Such a treat!

sick lineup of games. the idra/mvp match has the makings to be a great tvz, on level with clide/leenock game.

Watching Moon advance and defeat the Brood War figurehead would be an early Christmas gift, if only because it would result in the Twelve Days of Mourning on TeamLiquid. (Yes, I feast on the lulz.)
