those marines just didn't take any damage from the mutas. there weren't even medivacs.

Edit: And just imagine if he'd made only 2 medivacs then just made ravens.
Apart from the one drop the medivacs basically did nothing.

If you're gonna get owned by banelings anyway, health is almost irrelevant. Each one is 100/100 that's a huge investment for something that really doesn't do much.

no offense but in terms of your commentary you guys should go over more often

harvesters each player has
income at various points
resources in bank
army sizes
upgrades

sometimes you guys mention these things but they are never shown on screen in tabs.. for 1/2 the game the observer was clicked on one of QXCs bunkers (scrap station game)

prime example is the game on scrap station, it seemed like ret was in the dominating position at the end there with the mutas, however i believe he had no mining bases after he lost that gold?? i think that should have been emphasized etc.

I definitely agree that armor upgrades are really effective, especially Air Armor+1/+3 as it negates the 3rd/2nd muta bounce on 0 weapons respectively. I do also agree that Ravens would have been nice, however the mutas kept sniping the medivacs so he never really had more than 2 or 3 out at once in his ball. If he had medivac retention then Raven transition would have been interesting as he had a ton of gas to spend.

Are you joking? Those broods decimated that army before vikings came out. If he made corruptors as they were attacking he would have won.

Mutas aren't on a timer though, brood lords always cause a bit of chaos before getting decimated by vikings. Mutas could've harassed him all game there, just look at how much damage the zergling drop did.
Then again, the broods might be the reason Ret didn't die horribly to qxc's push though.

Same was true for SC1, MnM with higher upgrades than the Zerg is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.
