Are you joking? Those broods decimated that army before vikings came out. If he made corruptors as they were attacking he would have won.

Mutas aren't on a timer though, brood lords always cause a bit of chaos before getting decimated by vikings. Mutas could've harassed him all game there, just look at how much damage the zergling drop did.
Then again, the broods might be the reason Ret didn't die horribly to qxc's push though.

Bolded. Corruptors destroy vikings with micro as Broodlords attack from the back. You don't need more than 5.

Corruptor/Broodlord > Muta endgame vs Terran. Period.

How do you micro against something with twice as much range as you?

He had three bases, not five. How would he, in any way, be able to get enough corruptors to counteract vikings? Sure, they can keep them occupied for a while but in the end you're fighting a losing battle, you can't contest terran air using corruptors.
But that's irrelevant, unless I'm really missing something ret didn't have enough economy to suddenly have a lot of broods AND corruptors.

And saying "period" at the end of a sentence doesn't bolster your argument.

when your unit is faster the range dosen't factor. And I think the corruptor is faster than viking (not sure about that)

Brilliant move by QXC, baits the banelings and just lifts off the marines.

4 base Terran is tough, no matter how many bases Zerg has.

I like QXC's strategy on this map. Building armor, turret range, and mech are going to basically lock down 4 bases on Delta Quadrant.

Why would you ever follow a drop like that for a minute. How about come back to it when it's getting close to drop.
If at first you don't suceed, deny you were ever apart of it.

Did qxc scout the greater spire? The vikings looked like an odd choice.

Or he's a prophet who predicted the interception of that drop and the ridiculous amount of brood lords.. Goddamn, never seen that many outside of FFAs.
