This really helps a lot, I hate TvT in sc2 so much. Is there any chance of doing this for the other match ups? TvP, TvZ. :D
Also I feel there is not enough material on how to defend the cheeses. Like if I go gas first against 2 rax marine all in, what should my decision making be, in order to have any chance of surviving? pull workers out of gas, make bunker, marine, then supply depot? then hellion 1 at a time? Imagine each of the builds in the guide, pitted against each all in, what do you do, from both perspectives to achieve victory/survive?. A guide that breaks down decision making at critical times would be invaluable to everyone, of every race, in every match up/build. And something that is still, 5 years later, severely lacking for sc2. Unless you can find a pro replay file showing a proper defense.
Defending all-ins in sc2 remains the most difficult and most illusive, as if not much has changed since WoL Beta, more official guides/content from Teamliquid would be invaluable to the sc2 community, especially for lower ranked players and newcomers alike.

Where can I find such guide for zerg ?

Great! The only thing missing for me is the two tank two medivac drop, that I encounter quite often. Would love to do this myself from time to time, but I don't know the build order. The article is fantastic nevertheless

My worst MU is about to be my best MU

A bit late now that most players have moved on, but great read nonethless.

Absolutely excellent writeup, going to make those offrace battles between me and friens much more competitive! :D Thanks you very much.

The raven builds include "the bunny build". Pretty sure that is what you are searching

Extremely well done guide. Good job guys.

AWESOME GUIDE!! Thank You So Much! This is exactly what I was looking for in TvT. This may change people's hatred of TvT

This is a fantastic resource, well done

Well done, thanks for all the work!

I want to get back into laddering, but tbh, I don't have the time. Still, I'm glad you included the ETC song at the start of this guide. Part of me misses the glory days of GomTvT and the prime time of all those Terrans of old duking it out for esports glory.

TvT is my favourite MU to watch and to play. Love it. So much more to learn!
|
my 70% TvT might go down soon...
|
Nice post ! I think you forget to put "Medivac Based Aggression" in the weakness of Banshee's builds
|
Thank you so much, this exactly the matchup I have been struggling with lately, this is exactly what i needed. God bless you Jer99 and TheDWF (also for the HotS Terran Help Me Thread) and everbody who helped
|
Thanks for the builds!! :D
|
a really nice guide and thanks very much to the writers!!!

Not sure if I necessarily agree with the 'good vs' and 'bad vs' predictions, really most of these openings can be done vs any other opening as long as you execute properly and make small adjustments based on what you scout.
Still, really nice guide, TvT has always been one of my favorite matchups and hopefully this will lead to more Terran's enjoying the matchup as well.

Great article! Love the depth and breadth of topics it covers. TvT is the best matchup after TvZ imo and this really highlights some of the nuances in playing it.
