I got core hotkeys from GitHub (https://github.com/JaKaTaK/TheCoreConverter)

I wanted to use the visualizer as a guide when learning the layout and found that both visualizers I was able to find (http://jakatak.github.io/thecorevisualizer/visualizer/ and http://ivanvolosyuk.github.io/thecorevisualizer/visualizer/) seem to be outdated.

Is there an up to date visualiser?

So what's the best way to inject now? Coming back after a long break and having a hard time finding the answer. Is it manually selecting queens while cycling through the location cameras?

With LoTV, RapidFire inject is dead. Minimap is messy. It seems that the "all queen in 1 group + shift base camera" that was found originally is the best one: TheCore inject method

For TheCore Lite, adapted that
– hold Shift during the whole sequence to queue inject
– Shift+Q: select inject queens
– Shift+W: jump to main hive
– Shift+Space: inject larvae
– center pointer and click: target for inject
– Shift+A: jump to 2nd
– center pointer and click: target for inject
– Shift+S: jump to 3rd
– center pointer and click: target for inject
– Shift+Z: jump to 4th
– center pointer and click: target for inject
– Shift+X: jump to 5th
– center pointer and click: target for inject

so i learnd how to used the core...its a realy great experiance. still getting better with it and its obviously a lot more efficient then my old layout. Now sice everything is baicaly on rapid-fire how do i focus fire on banelings...shifting-through isnt working anymore.

I need help from you guys. So i've already downloaded the file for what i want to play PRM, but i looked at it and it just seemed ridiculous to me, No offense, but i dont see how having attack on J helps, when i use my left hand for keyboard.

I was looking at the reasons to use TheCore earlier and saw this
"1. Avoid Reaching.
The further away a key is from the resting position, the longer it will take to press."

I am most definitely reaching just to press attack.

I also dont see how not using Q helps because its a very good key in good range, but there is no hotkey to my current vision.

I'm choosing the folder USQWERTY and hopefully someone tells me its a different folder because in my honest opinion if this is what the the hotkeys are like, i'd rather use grid and maybe use the global keys on TheCore file.

PLEASE TELL ME I'M WRONG!!!

You're wrong.

I think you didn't notice that your hand is supposed to be on the other side of the keyboard. Look at the following to see which key needs to press which button (pinky on J for attack): http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/sc2-strategy/341878-thecore-advanced-keyboard-layout#

Hey I'm having some trouble with the suggested key-finger mapping. specifically with the U where my ring finger is in the was when in the resting state.

Anybody have an idea as to what I might be doing wrong? Tilting the key board helped only a little bit.

Try looking at a smaller or bigger layout if you find the keys are too close or too far apart for you.

I have switched to the small layout (PRS) now. This version seems to have some bugs though.

It is currently not possible to hallucinate adepts with sentries. SC2 also reports that "set camera 6" is currently unbound, the SC2Hotkeys file does report it being bound to Alt+Enter though.
It is currently also not possible to rotate the camera right even though that is set as well in the file.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Yo guys i have a question. I hope this is the right place.
I have a german keyboard and my ALT on the right side is an ALT GR which is basically ALT+CONTROLL.
How do you(other german keyboard users maybe) deal with the overlapping with the Camera Hotkeys and the CGs, which is due to the right ALT key being registerd as ALT+CONTROLL.(If i use the "Add Hotkey" function and use the ALT GR key ALT+CONTROLL is the result)

I don't know what you try to do.

CTRL for add and take away
CTRL+SHIFT for setting Camera Location
SHIFT for jumping to Locations
ALT GR For creating control groups

That is my setup, can't complain. I usually just use CTRL for controll groups, but If I mess up I can reset a group with ALT GR, rarely used key.

Well as i said my ALT GR is being registerd as ALT + CONTROL so when iam adding camera locations iam creating control groups at the same time.
Could you maybe sent me your hotkeys ? just so i can try it out ? Maybe i fucked something up.

Oh and how do you use Conrol for taking away AND adding units ?

When I am pressing the AltGr for the camera locations it is not adding control groups. Add+steal is just control (strg on the German keyboard) plus the hotkey.

Edit: But now thinking about it. Maybe I changed that control + X is add/steal. Not sure anymore. Or was it control + shift + X for creating that I changed. No idea anymore, but you can easily do this yourself.
