nope, not enough changes to really worry about it. Just add in the new units/abilities and you're set.

Speaking about lefties do you maybe know what kind of setup Naniwa use? As new possible user should i use 1.0 or 2.0? I believe Jakatak is lefty as well as I am. Lefty layout is full rights citizen in The Core.

But one thing that bothers me is when I use controll group and I accidentally select some unit that I dont want to be in the group and can't get rid of it. Before I changed to TheCore I just unselected the unit and re-created the group to the same hotkey, but that dosnt work. Oh! and I am playing Wings of Liberty. Thanks for the hotkeys! I hope you can understand my enligsh and read my spelling ![]()

so I used to play with the old Core (0.6.), but quit SC2 for quite a while. I came back today, threw out all the keybinds and installed the new files (2.0 if I'm not wrong) from Dropbox - German ZRM. First thing I noticed, the control groups weren't the same anymore. No problem, I installed the new keybinds to get better basics and all that good stuff. Then however I noticed that the old images didn't get updated and don't appear to be accurate anymore, so I checked into the spreadsheet instead. When I started with the staircase Step 0 as Zerg (amazing guide btw.) I wanted to bind the Hatchery to P as the spreadsheet said - except P isn't a control group hotkey in the settings themselves. O is, which actually should have been an ability according to the sheet. I am using the ZRM spreadsheet. Is this a known error, what do I do about it and should I fix the ingame hotkeys or just play them as they are? (Not hot on changing anything if I don't have to, unless you guys intend to release a patch for this anyway.) I tried using the new visual tool, except the German QWERTY version seems to be kinda broken, it doesn't properly display most control groups, etc. on both Chrome and Firefox. However, from what little I've been able to verify, the tool also has (like the sheet) P as a control group and O as an ability key (again, ingame is exactly the other way around). Well, simply said, is the spreadsheet wrong or is the hotkey file wrong? Do you intend to update the images for the 2.0 set in order to offer a stable if cheap version of the visual tool? Thanks for your help ![]() Edit: I just found out that there is another, different set of spreadsheets linked somewhere in the comments and these appear to be the same as ingame, except that these aren't for the German keyboard: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/140gNhKs_1VCG6JJ9ijvEblKI9UQcpUKDTPap5t_kBeU/edit#gid=474533134

It probably would be best if you set up a frame of sorts and gave me a list of things I'd be allowed to do. Seriously, I have no idea.

One of the best features of Google Docs is that you can revert every change ever made to it. So there should be no problem, if you mess something up. I think the main problem we need to solve is the presentation of the hotkey layout. We started creating a new spreadsheet file for the users to get rid of all the notes and stuff that is necessary for development but not for a user, who wants to start using TheCore. It can be found here. This sheet pulls the important information form the main sheet (TheCore Master Spreadsheet) and thus is always up to date without anybody needing to edit anything. This is done by the command in cell A1. The downside is that it is still not as user friendly as I like it to be, because we cannot rearrange the data when pulling the information form the main sheet (at least as far as I know). Only way to improve the usability is by changing the colors of the text or the cells or by changing the master sheet. Maybe you can think of a different way to present TheCore to new users. And about the visualizer problem: I thought we fixed the German visualizer last year with this pull https://github.com/IvanVolosyuk/thecorevisualizer/pull/1 Apparently it is broken again. No idea why. (The 2.0 visualizer is found here http://ivanvolosyuk.github.io/thecorevisualizer/visualizer/ ) You can make it work by changing your keyboard language in windows to US QWERTY and use the US version of the visualizer. It should work with most keys.

That said, what is ultimately more important is that you add the links you just gave me into the official OP, because that's where people look. Apparently the old visualizer is sorta broken, however the one for 2.0 seems to work just fine, so you might wanna make that available right up there next to the old one with the beta signature. Actually, you should maybe NOT add the beta if you believe that you're mostly done and only the media needs to catch up. Well, I'll see what I can come up with to make these sheets glance-friendly. What functionally do you need? 1. Do they need to update automatically? 2. Should it be printable? 3. Should it be interactable, maybe even on a second monitor while playing the game (Having the visualizer react to key presses while you're playing a game might be really, really nice, at least for those with a secondary monitor.)? 4. Maybe be able to hide part of it, so a user can choose exactly what grouping(s) to show at any one time? 5. Make the visualizer an app, tablet owners could use this to train on the bus for example?
