Hey, I tried playing around with 2.0 in the visualizer and I really like it so far (1.0 PRM user). Is it worth it to make the switch? Scratch that, but the time it took me to write this sentence I have already decided to make the switch. Is there any general time frame, as to how long will it take to fully adjust? Also, is there any other resource aside from the master spreadsheet and visualizer? Maybe some post explaining the reasoning of the changes or something similar (didnt find any on the front page).
And one more specific question, how do you use the "melee" and "ranged" CGs as a protoss? I only used one for the main army ";" and the other one I used for scout. If I wanted use one again for the army, is it better to use it on CG2 or CG3? The other one I would probably use for something like stalkers or phoenixes.

Its annoying to change cancel because when you mispress it, really bad shit happens. If you accidentally make a zealot instead of a stalker, not as terrible.

hey jakatak i just started using the core v2.0 zerg player starting to slowly get the hang of it 2 days in my 1 question is to do with the rapid fire inject using - and = if i dont have a queen at 1 of my bases the queens run all over the place and its very hard to press both of the keys at the exact same time every time :/ is there a solution to this or should i just slow my injects down O_o

also 1 other thing im using suggested cg's and 4 of the suggested cameras completly new to using cameras i have queens set to u i tend to make 4 queens at the start any suggestion for my 2 creep spreaders

On which hotkey is better to set workers (in a start of game)? I've tried H and - but I don't seem to catch which is in unison with the core. )

The RF Inject is incredibly difficult. It will take a lot of practice before it gets consistent. Take your time, and practice a lot.
U sounds good. Suggested CGs are particularly hard for zerg because they change a lot. Stay flexible and you should be much happier/more efficient.
@Sufi What do you mean? A control group?

@JaKaTaKSc2 Yes, recommended control group for workers at about first 5 min. (active worker). For instance if I set worker to ' or - or = it's an index finger repetition with CC ; (CG 3). If I set worker to H than there is no finger repetition but reaction time with H->I->build slower.

ok fair enouth should i be using my index and middle finger to hit -+= or just my index in the middle of the 2

I have downloaded core lite and jumping to camera locations is really weird.
CameraView3= Control+Shift+W,Control+W CameraView4= Control+Shift+A,Control+A CameraView5= Control+Shift+S,Control+S CameraView6= Control+Shift+Z,Control+Z CameraView7= Control+Shift+X,Control+X
surely it should be one button?

@MightyOwl I'm on righty medium and yes Ctrl+Shift+Key setup for jump-camera is actually awesome - I had the same question "why don't just use like f8-f9-f0" and then realized the thought behind all this. Just try it out. )

is random 2.0 stable? I mean I saw some Y (in development), but I wanna know if there will be some changes would it be too dramatic?

@Sufi Using a control group for building things with a worker is an inefficient habit. I strongly suggest against it.

For a scouting worker I would suggest w/e is close and on a different finger than your nex/cc/hatch.

So you decide you wanna play sc2 a little more seriously and switch to the core, you actually have not many problems with your old set up, just the camera hotkeys seem like a little stretch, Then you see HeroMarine actually playing with Grid, Life not using Camera-hotkeys at all, and you realise, unless you spend the next 10 years playing this game professionally, the better ergonomics probably won't effect your wrist-health at all /rant
