I'm diamond zerg btw - using the JIOP layout, modified quite a bit. I have removed the camera shortcut keys as I never used them anyway, which frees up shift to create groups instead of control-shift. I do still use control-shift J for my initial hatchery, and control-shift P for my initial queens. I've put inject on shift-O, and base camera on shift-K. So to do injects I press shift P, shift O, then shift-K/click repeating - works pretty well. I've also moved around some buildings/unit producing hotkeys to make them a bit easier to remember. I feel I can play much quicker now, and most importantly, I get a lot less finger pain because my fingers are no stretched out constantly. This is a big thing for me. I only started out using the core because I spilled a drink on my left control key on my new mechanical keyboard, and didn't want to buy a new one - but worth it now! | ||

Yeah, this hotkey trainer map is pretty sweet, but it's not perfect. It's like half the hotkeys I need are missing because every building is already selected and you can't learn the "make control group X" etc,... also no cameras. About the Zerg hotkey layout [ZRM], it's actually quite irritating to have the research stuff (ovi speed, ovi drops, queen) on the same keys as units. Whenever I press hatch and select a larva, now I have to actually check if a larva is selected, and that is somewhat annoying. Gonna try to get ovi drops on a completely different key at least... researching it accidentally is the worst thing... maybe putting it on Z or T is ok, still somewhat reachable too. | ||

Yup, more like it has been mentioned and be sure to login to the american server else you won't find the map .Lag is indeed no issue. For control groups you really need to go play Dargleins stuff. | ||

Why isn't Darglein's Multitask Trainer available for all 3 races?! Know of anything similar for Zerg or Protoss (not the "do a build and run a worker in a ciricle bullshit) EDIT: No go on a spotlight for TL. We're not there yet. | ||
