As the author already noted, the weakness is the position of the Ctrl key (a bit for Alt key as well). Suggestion to improve: rebind Ctrl and Alt to gaming mouse buttons. I also change camera binding to Ctrl-4/5/E/R/D/F/C/V. Thus eliminating all hand movement. Hope the author take into consideration to create a gaming mouse specific layout. | ||

TheCore Lite is in maintenance mode, no big changes expected. I want to keep supporting all existing keyboard layouts (maybe some new if effort is limited), all modes (campaign/coop) with priority on ladder. About gaming mouse specific layout, you are encouraged to use TheCore Lite as a baseline, from where you can further customize your setup Sharing your setup on Discord channel or anywhere over the Web is cool from community dynamics etc… In case you've done a change that you think would benefit to all TheCore Lite users, please file a bug on TheCoreLite GitHub repo, or contact me directly (so that I file the bug). | ||

I was wondering if you can help me with this: I remapped hold position to Alt+E, E (from only E) but see , it won't issue the command  ![[image loading]](https://imgur.com/a/ETLF9CI) Link: https://imgur.com/a/jGHcevW Change in <myHotkeylayoutName>.txt: MoveHoldPosition=Alt+E, E I am really wondering, why I even have to put up the Alt+E hotkey, since I don't use alt+E anywhere, E should just register, no matter that I press alt+e.............!????? I have a strong reason for this, I want to stop auto cast and then hold position after each other (relatively efficiently/quickly). However at the moment, when I happen to slack with my alt-finger... after issuing the alt+F command to On/OFF autocast... and press E with some other finger, it won't issue the hold position command with E (because alt+e is registered... which I tried to fix...) Thank you. (Please consider PM'ing me, incase any of you guys answer is a bit late - since I might not check here all time). BTW: You can see I incorporated your alternating-finger-hotkey idea. It's quite fast. | ||

I've tried to assign this via the UI and it doesn't register the Alt. Maybe it is because, as you mentioned, Alt + command toggles the auto-cast by default and you can't toggle auto-cast on hold position, so it just does nothing. What would be my guess. You're of course welcome to share your hotkey file if you want us to try and test it to see what happens, but I suspect it would be the same. | ||
