If you're against, say, zerg, and you just rally units across, you could end up losing a ton to simple zerglings ambushing them on the way. Terran units are really weak alone, but strong in a group, so you want to move out when you have a group strong enough. It also helps against counterattacks and such. its equally important to consider what you want to accomplish with your attack. If you just plan on doing as much damage as possible, suiciding your units on the way, you really don't want to rally out everything else you're making and suicide that as well, as a counterattack afterwards could be devastating without any defense left. | ||

 as for little tips ive found that when i have a viper hotkey it's helpful to bind my overseers to the same hotkey, because when i pull the vipers back it keeps my overseers alive as well, which is useful in fights against protoss who go for the obnoxious overseer snipe-DT warpin trick, meching terrans who mix heavy banshees into their army, or protoss who make a mothership in their endgame army | ||

When I select transport unit, press D button (Unload All action in classic hotkeys) and click the transport unit, it will start to popping out every unit in the transport. Is there any possibility to cancel this process? Is there any possibility to start this process on every selected transport in one action? Thank you for answer. | ||

When I play zerg and I do not have enough vespene gas for a unit, my adviser tells me I do not have enough but the thing is, the unit is grayed out, I don't have the tech yet to unlock the unit. I must accidentally click on a grayed out unit or something. | ||

The problem, however, is that I can't get used to the normal sized external keyboards. I play with default keys with just a few changed (camera keys, immortal from I to E, etc.), and I suck pretty badly with "real" keyboards, sometimes having to even look down at the keys. I thought it was because of the $20 keyboard I was using, so I tried out my friend's mechanical keyboard, which actually felt even worse. I gave it a good 3 months, and still couldn't get used to it. I'm visiting my GF so all I have is my laptop with me, and after getting re-used to the laptop keyboard for ~5 games, my old Thinkpad X220 keyboard has become a dream come true. APM went up almost by 1/4 from ~140 to ~170, and I am noticeably doing everything much faster. The keys are softer to press and closer together, and despite having the terribly designed Fn key right where ctrl should be, I'm still owning with just ~20 in game fps. Of course I'm hitting the wrong keys more frequently since they're so close together, but overall my gameplay has improved dramatically with the supposed downgrade. I looked into compact desktop keyboards, but they're still no where nearly as compact as my 12 inch laptop's keyboard. Any suggestions for my dilemma? I play random at the low masters level if that helps. | ||

To shorten the training or add value, perhaps changing to a different hotkey system would be a good idea since you need to relearn some habits anyways. I recommend the Vortex RACE. Pretty nice keyboard, super compact and especially the F# keys are well placed, decent build quality. How are you opening atm? This build was absolutely terrible to hold in Beta, with 90hp 140shield adepts with a 2 second warp in time. Since the nerfs I've found that opening cc first into 3 rax medivac into 5 rax holds this off very well with just bio. Make sure you're putting your mauraders in front of marines, and contrary to what you might think you still want a very healthy marine count since they do much higher DPS vs adepts than marauders. edit: Just realized I don't know what race you play I assumed Terran? Or is it viable against Zerg too? | ||
