One reason why I had a tougher time learning Zerg was because it often gets played as a reactive race due to the way they prodcue units (everything from larva). It thus gets difficult for a beginner to build a strong economy while being safe against attacks because you have to have good scouting, correct reads and a proper understanding of army strength (how much do i need to build to survive). For a new player, I'd recommend a simple aggressive build order/all in for every match up which you can follow without worrying to much about scouting and unit/drone management all to much. This way, you can slowly get used to it. | ||

You simply rally your CC with 16 workers to the next expansion (right click on the mineral line that is not saturated with all of your CC's selected). With barracks, you have to know how units are built. For instance, if you have 2 rax with reactor and 1 with tech, if you press D first you will always start a maurader. When I'm macroing as terran, I'll hit "AA, AA, D" (marine/ marine on reactor rax 1, marine/ marine on reactor rax 2, maurader on tech rax). If you have all of your production buildings on one control group, use "tab" to cycle through them. Your problem is simply one that requires practice to master. | ||

You should have strategies set for particular maps and opponent compositions. If you're playing 2v2 randoms, don't even bother with that shit because you won't be able to communicate what you want to do effectively and timely | ||

However, if you're in an intense late game 200vs200 supply war, you will definietly need a bank for re-maxing out should you take an unfavourable engagement. Right now, it sounds like you need to identify what you should be doing with your units during certain points in the game and your multitasking. | ||
