This is an AWESOME Idea. If a tank knows something is there, it should be able to shoot it, right? At the very least, let it deal some kind of splash damage in an area.

I think you can add harass expansion with "thor drop" versus zerg on maps like LT. Jinro showed us some great play with this kind of drop. Don't find the replay however

This is a great write up. I'm a zerg player and attempting to learn the other races and this is very helpful. The Thor army composition part is VERY strong against zerg. I always have trouble against it as zerg.

I believe this is only true after the colossus gets its range upgrade. The PF is 6 or 7 depending on if they get the range increase upgrade at the ebay.

And as for u lduwig- i think your trying to say that the pfort openeing vs toss isnt viable; so lemme make a quick statement about that: Siege tanks and or vikings => Colossi. If they go colossi, with good scouting you should still be able to open pfort and get vikings / tanks in time to defend a colossi push.

Dropping MULEs in fron of a zerg players b-lings can save your ass timte to time. Though you miss out on a lot of minerals, but it has saved my ass on a few times.

thank you very much for writing this. I dont actually have SC2. But i was hoping to learn about the races etc. For the main release( whenever that may be). This has further prompted my choice to be mainly a terran player. However how would u deal with immortals as ive seen replays and the immortals always seem to beat through the defences of the opposite army.
