Got linked here from the "Help with Reacting" thread trying to find advice on responding to 2rax. I suppose my tanks are just too slow out of the gate. Anyone have good replays of smashing some Terran rushes?

Ok, so you’ve scouted and see a 10 supply build going into what you assume is a 12 rax. Next step; Build a factory and an engineering bay...When your engineering bay finishes, get a missile turret up at your entrance and at your mineral line, just incase.

is either a good idea or reacting to anything. Is this really standard in TvT?

IDK if its standard- but it is definatly smart. Sometimes its hard to tell if somone is going to try to sneak a banshee in here or there, and one banshee at the right (wrong) time can easliy win somone a game. Its 200 minerals to potentially prevent a loss. Pretty good investment if you ask me.

Hey Zoltan, just today I got proxy reaper cheesed and I lost because I did NOT use the safe anti-reaper opening. The reason why I didn't use it is because almost everywhere I look Terrans are being told to do the standard 10 supply opening. Trump, in his big replay analysis thread, is especially strict about this and believes it to be best opener period.

Now I'm considering to start using the anti-reaper opening in every TvT I play (unless the opponent randoms terran then I would probably go 10 supply). But before I do so I'm looking for some advice or replays on how to stop a proxy reaper cheese with the standard 10 supply opener. It must be possible, or else more people would use the safe opener. I'm just wondering if it's worth the risk/reward. Getting beat by reapers is hella frustrating.

Btw thanks for the guide. It has really helped me make it Diamond.
