Haha, yeah it's definitely 8 minerals. Also, you really should make it 8 per trip/start out with 4 workers. Since you're making a "Brood War" maps for SC2, why should the worker count at the beginning be kept the same as SC2, while other stats are being changed?

I played this map with a friend yesterday, and overall impressions are positive. Remember to remove Xel'Naga watchtowers, though. I'm sure you still have many updates lined up, so I won't give too much specific feedback yet (I'll see how the newer versions turn out). I will provide more detailed feedback after a few more updates.

well. i dont see why it would be good to cut out the xel naga watch towers. it only adds to the game. i know it didn't exist in brood war but map specific stuff like that shouldn't matter.

also 8 minerals per trip wouldn't help make it feel more like brood war. developers said they reduced it to 5 because mining rate was much much faster thanks to worker pathfinding and it had to be reduced to keep it close to BW.

they probably dont. the splash radius is more than likely too small. i can't find any precise data on it's splash radius. i simply guessed. i'll probably increase the radius in the future.

Well, primarily for the same reasons you put in new dragoon/reaver/corsair models, etc. None of this is game changing, and I think it's not good to arbitrarily make some aspects similar to BW, while keeping others similar to SC2. Though you are probably correct about the mining rate part--since worker mining speeds can be changed, I suppose that can be a consideration for a future version or something.

I don't think the updated version is on the US it's still on Delta Quadrant, and all the units models are the same

latest is still delta quadrant. it should have the immortal model for the dragoon now.

*EDIT* discovered a bug that prevents medics from healing. i'll fix that today sometime.

so I know you already have reaver model (looks good too) I just wanted to figure out how to import things. And OMG what a PITA. I don't even have teamcolors or animations going. Super unfriendly to get a custom model / unit in the game, but you knew that. I'll leave it to you I think, with my thanks for undertaking this

mamiyaotaru i didn't make the model or import it heh. 2 other people are helping me with that. but yea. it isn't a simple process.

also if anyone has any good games or anything send me the replays. i would like to get some footage done for another preview video. i played incredibly bad in my video.
