Restoring the destructible rocks would actually be really easy via triggers. You could setup an event for map initialization to store( set a gloval variable) of the locations of all units types being destrucble rocks. At the end of a match have a trigger destroy all rocks, and then with the start of a new match use a create unit action on the rocks that calls back the the locations from the global variable. | ||

Yes, this is EXACTLY what I do to replenish the minerals and vespene gas upon reset. I wrote it as a procrastination tool to avoid doing other more important work ![]() When I get a chance I will probably fix it all up (instead of storing minerals, rish minerals, vespene gas normal variation, vespene gas space platform variation, rich vespene, each of the 8 or so different destructable rocks, each of the diferent destructable doodads etcetcetc I will just create matrix of all unit types, positions and angles)... which would coincidentaly lend itself well to creating save points for each players units (say you are practising 4gate you could save the game by typing "save slot 1" when warp gate is about to finish and practice your execution by typing "load slot 1" without having to start from the begining each time. I think that could be a very useful tool I have plenty of ideas, just not time or energy right now. ![]() | ||

In other words, I would like to play against the Hard AI up until the 5 minute mark repeatedly and quickly. Anyone know of a custom map that would let me do that? | ||

You may have hit shift+h by mistake instead of ctrl+shift+h, and turned off the layer visibility. You can just press shift+h again to restore. | ||

Is there any way to equally divide a map in 2 rectangles or 4 squares? I'm not sure what you mean exactly but in the bottom left there should be the x and y coordinates of your cursor listed so you can know where the half way point is. turning the grid on will help with that. Also if you have the terrain pallette selected you can box terrain and the copy + paste, flip and rotate it. | ||
