Sorry to say i personally never go over "low", on any mod/map. i hate to be called out for lag, i hate to suffer from it. Window mode is not "optimal" to play / have fun, no? Other than capturing the graphic feed, i see no point to it then again i'm definitely not the smartest drone in the pack ![]()

There is some performance cost associated with rendering the graphics to a window then rendering that window to the screen.

If you ladder, you probably already have set it to low.. if you are mapmaking for the players, they all play on low (or should ![]() When your map seems done.. then you can spend time to go nuts with what it looks/feels like on high (ultra is overrated). Just remember to double check back to loww settings to see if you have not done something you didn't want or think would happen. Game settings are star 2 settings (players' passive use only), the editor will allow you to switch from one to another "instantly" (while creating your map) and "manage" this aspect prior to the map being played (= players' choice). The players can access more (for replays for one ![]() ![]()

Windows mode makes alt-tabbing to check other things much quicker. I use that a lot so it's better for me but I haven't noticed any giant changes to the framerate in game compared to Fullscreen

Open up the Galaxy Editor, go to "Open" and select the tab "Battle.net", log in and select "Source: Blizzard" and there you'll find it. @spiderman459, yeah you should post it in the Simple Questions/Simple Answers thread in the Starcraft 2 forum.

I'm looking for some sort of YABOT style test map on the EU servers. I'd like something that'll send predetermined attack waves at me so I can practice my drone timings a bit. None of the maps I've come across seem to have the attack waves feature.
