I really wonder how much can be attributed to Boxer's return to SKTT1. I would say the main success of SKT has been the rise of Fantasy as a stable player (and thezerg's small winstreak in Round 4 allowed for a LOT of 3-1s between him and fantasy/Bisu). Can most of fantasy's 2009 success be attributed to Boxer returning? Maybe, I mean fantasy is easily the most like boxer in play-style out of the modern Terrans I would say.

but the people it’s going to come down to to bring in those extra points needed for a team victory are the Terrans. I don't know how you come to that conclusion, looking at the matchups. This is really all about what happens in Hyuk vs ggaemo, and Thezerg vs. Killer. OZ's plan is Jaedong + 2 wins + ace on one day. These games are against SK's weakest players, and ZvZ can be very random and unforgiving. The odds of OZ taking both of these is better than the odds of them taking any other combination of 2 games that day. After that, if Jaedong did his job in taking out Fantasy, it's on to the ace match vs... well, Fantasy. The only place that the Terrans in this matchup matter is when they're playing Jaedong. Their other games are essentially conceded from the beginning. Lomo's going to fail because... that's what Lomo does. He can't play, period. Why do you think they stuck him on that map? And Hiya drew Bisu on day one, so that's a priori done. OZ's fate will be decided in two ZvZ's, not in Terran matchups. On August 06 2009 13:51 iPF[Div] wrote: wtf is a rubicon It's a river in Italy. Man, this is going to be an amazing finals. On August 06 2009 15:00 NicolBolas wrote: Lomo's going to fail because... that's what Lomo does. He can't play, period. I bet you the kid will prove you wrong. Lomo is taking at least one of his games.

This counts on Jaedong to pull through in the ace matches against Fantasy, Bisu or some other cheese wielding sniper. I think it's Jaedong who will set the stage more than the other two Oz zergs. Killer and ggaemo both get to practice with Jaedong. The SKT1 zergs only get to practice with each other.
