This is an excellent writeup leading to the Grand Finals! I cannot wait until the games start!
BackHo failed so badly against Canata last time, I wonder how much he'll choke this time around.
Venture Capital is better off spent on lottery tickets rather than investing in E-Sports; you'll get a far better return. The difference is simple: Koreans are tryharding at the game, foreigners are tryharding in real-life.

Brillant write up. Has made me even more pumped for this series. This being the first year I have ever followed pro starcraft I am extreamly glad that I chose to decidate time to this.

Skt1 to feast on the broken flesh of Oz players.

It's the river Ceaser crossed to enter Rome. By crossing the river Caesar was disobeying Pompey's orders. 50 BC is great stuff

even though you pointed out many predictions and 100% bisu will win perfectman and other new players and as a big SKT fan we cannot underestimate hwaseung Oz because we seen how these playoffs go as Miracle himself pulled BIG MIRACLES and perfectman himself pulled a win against iris. even orion kicking jaedong ass was unexcepted. we just cannot underestimate hwaseung Oz because their players might make a upset or skt pulling a "HYUK" but we never know but one day im sure of is that SKT will this PL GRAND FINAL

I had to lol at this line "Iris/Effort/Skyhigh/Kwanro is way more fearsome than Bisu/Fantasy/Canata/Best". Though I do tout the SKT icon so maybe I'm biased.

I loved this format, so many contributors made this long read as fresh as it gets. I don't know if this took more work and coordination than usual, but a hype as this is only fitting for the finals. Can't fucking wait.

I think Jaedong is as much of a deciding factor in whether Oz takes this as his dopey teammates. The minimum wins Oz has to take can look like so:

Jaedong:3
Not Jaedong:2

I think it is safe to say that Oz's weaker players should be able to take two wins (especially since if they do it on day one both those wins can be taken off T1 zergs who have a legacy of their own to live up to). Jaedong on the other hand will have to face T1's aces in the deciding games of this series, who, with Bisu and Fantasy in their number, are among the best Broodwar has seen.

Therein lies the heart of this conflict. We know Jaedong is capable of beating anyone in the world and equally capable of failing. I think that these matches will be decided not by the caliber of Oz's backup lineup, but by whether Jaedong decides to take the crown that destiny has offered him and rise from legend-killer to legend in the flesh.

[Edit] Although if the Oz backup fails as hard as they did against CJ it's gonna be lights out really fast. I think Oz has a lot more that could go wrong and a lot more that needs to go right to pull an upset[Edit]
