ooo hunters eh? seems like a pretty big departure from what they usually have, but it'd be pretty cool to see it played if they decide to keep it. the 1v1s do look a bit bland tho, a little too macro-heavy perhaps :\

Hannibal seems to lead to longer 2v2 games and Hunters could be fun, but too rush oriented. But yeah there are so many places to hide stuff or expand so it'll be interesting (unless April's joke).

I like the Colosseum. It seems interesting with position of third expansion, with the safe mineral only near it. I think it favors long time games with multitasking, which we all like to see.

You're right, the high qualify version allows you to see a sunk infront of each main. I fail see what effect it would have though, since there's only a very small area where sunks can be built behind it. I cannot figure out the purpose of the sunk at all

Edit: Just to let everyone know, I think these maps have great potential to be balanced, much more than previous season's maps. I think there are potential issues, but these maps look very good, and I think the issues can be overcome.

The sunken colony allows Zerg to defend their choke easier (no need to make a hatchery, sine the creep is already there), since the natural isn't anywhere close to their choke into the main.

I get that penguin, but you can't build around the sunken, you can only build in a very small line behind the sunken which means that anything you build there will be unsuited to defending a proper attack, which is why I am confused.
