There aren't many Korean players who go to mainly compete abroad and return to compete in Korea. Even though they live and practice there, the environment is completely different on the main stage. It's a unique type of pressure and stress they have to deal with that few pros ever have to experience.
I honestly expected Hero to choke a little, but I think if he continues to compete in the GSL, his stage performance will steadily increase. His skill certainly justifies better results.

Winner: MMA Reason: Leenock's ZvT is out of this world good, and it might very well be the best in the world alongside DongRaeGu, but MMA is still the undisputed best TvZ'er in the universe. MMA beat Leenock in the group stages of last season's Code S, and Leenock beat MMA 2-1 at Providence, so this will be the rubber match. However this might end up, this is going to be a match you will want to see.
Considering MMA's TvZ record post patch 1.4.0 is 10-9, I'd say it's at least debatable. MVP, Happy and Ganzi have been just as good if not better in the past 2.5 months.

Totally agree with you on that part. What I saw from Hero vs DRG blew my mind I felt like someone has hacked hero account or drugged him
Yeah I second this. HerO completely shut down in a horrific way that it became painful to watch.

great read..great summary..wish i was hardcore enough to wake up early and watch this amazingness

Haha those are the exact predictions I made. Let's hope they're right, I wanna see a five-way tie

I don't understand people hating on Naniwa. I guess you haven't bothered looking any further than your first impression. Check out that interview with Naniwa after the MLG Invitational if you're willing and capable of changing your view on the matter, or if you just wonder what it was all about and want some back-story. As a fellow Swede, just trust me when I say that he's being totally earnest with what he's saying there.
So yeah I obviously hope Naniwa does well. It'd be good for all foreigners if Naniwa could make a big impact on Korean soil. That hasn't happened really since Jinro reached RO4 in Code S for the 2nd time, and that's so long ago now.

With a couple exceptions, the people hating on naniwa in this thread are clearly trolling.

i like how most of the people missed the point of the prediction which was to say it is impossible to predict whose getting out of the group.

Please please beat Nani Professor Tea!

With a couple exceptions, the people hating on naniwa in this thread are clearly trolling. I guess, but quite a lot of people seem to look forward to Nestea smashing Naniwa (in a best of 1). Either way the results won't mean too much (unless there's something tangible like Hero choking), both because it's all BO1 right now, and from what I read in the Naniwa interview before the Blizzcup Press Conference he's not had a lot of time to practice and he's suffering from jet-lag, and if Naniwa wins well maybe all it means is that Nestea is human and is affected by the fact that he unexpectedly lost to him twice in Providence.

I think he did those predictions so when he's completely wrong it'll still be 2-2 2-2 2-2 2-2 2-2
|
I'm going to counter your predictions with my own:
4-0 3-1 2-2 1-3 0-4

Thank you wax and Fionn, great read <3

Damn Fionn, that was good.

Dat Leenock vs. Naniwa write-up. Quite wity sir.
I have similar predictions but MMA > Polt, Nestea > Naniwa, MMA > Naniwa.
I think MMA has had too much practice time to not go 4-0 in this group, however awesome it may be.

MMA is bad at TvP and naniwa can beat Nestea ezpz so I cant rly see him going 0-4.
NANIWA fighting

The ending made me lol. Terrific article as always!
