Agree with most of what's already been said. I feel the hosts did a good enough job running the game given the circumstances. The balance seems to be ok and I can only imagine how hard it must have been dealing with replacements and modkills when so many power roles were failing to send in actions.
Disagree with the modkill on Ace and Risen but I guess that's been covered to death by both sides already, and in the case of Risen I understand why it happened (still not too sure about Ace, as he didn't really do anything wrong).
As far as bans go, there's really ZERO excuse for people like intrigue, Lemonwalrus, and any power role that failed to send in a night action. Regardless of any drama in the thread, what really killed this game was all the inactives and there's really no excuse for that - especially from the players who weren't in their first game. I personally feel that every inactive or power role that didn't submit actions should be reviewed and action taken accordingly.

Seriously man, you need to hold back on the trolling a bit. Repeating over and over someone is mafia with no arguments to back of your assumptions is really annoying.

Sadly I'm only good at finding townies after my last 2 games and seeing what mistakes tend to happen as a townie and which ones don't.
I got a decent read on those guys I already played with and those people who did some mistakes wbg and bc called out I thought were green as well.
Actually I really wanted to shoot erandorr on n1 and told myself to shoot him n2 no matter what but changed my mind later on. Erandorr would have been my 2nd target if I got a 2nd bullet :p

I enjoyed it as my first game. Plus the IRC channel is hilarious :D
Think I'll watch 1-2 games before diving in again though. Defo be in the Student one, but the rest I wanna view from afar so I can discuss it with the other NPCs and see if I can learn stuff from there.

You know, the hilarious thing is I think this game actually succeeded in drawing in new players, or at least this game combined with the recruiting efforts drew interest to the sub-forum. It seems like there's a lot of new people floating around, now. :p

I might have missed a bunch of stuff but there were some really hilarious moments. can't decide which is better.
1) Bum is one of the bandwagon vote switch leaders. However because wiggles posts a vote count in between his post and the rest of the bandwagoners, everyone concentrates on the latter, and bum gets away with yelling at the bandwagoners even though he was one of them too!
2) A number of townies also somehow were not only on and ready, but also thought it was a good idea to vote switch with 7 other people at the last minute with no prior discussion?????
3) People actually starting to not doubt vaderseven after he was basically confirmed mafia because he wouldn't stop posting.

Also I always ask, "what would a town player do if they were in this sitation?" and then do that.
I have been trolled for my never give up never surrender style before. I was town in a game once and the mod let the game go on after the scum had won without posting that scum won.
When you are one town and 4 mafia you start to make some crazy as hell cases.
I face palmed so hard when I woke up and and the 4 mafia dudes who had all voted each other suddenly had voted me off as the obvs scum.
The mod then posted a fake flip of me flipping red which had me mad for a good 30 mins.
As you can see, I will not learn under any circumstances the value of giving up.

I personally like 1), but big props to vaderseven, who attempted to make the best out of a pretty bad situation. There isn't anyone else on this forum that I think would put in the effort to continue to try to cause chaos and save themselves on what seemed to be a hopeless scenario. This is something I'd like to see in future games in any case, given how mafias tend to crumble once they know they've been found.
