I don't follow international basketball very much, but I just really don't want to watch Team USA just tearing apart everyone in runaway games. Do I make the skill gap between NBA players vs. the world too high??

Do I make the skill gap between NBA players vs. the world too high?? Unfortunately, the skill gap is still very large. Teams like France, Argentina, Brazil, Lithuania and especially Spain have a great chance to get medals, but if Team USA plays up to their potential for the whole competition, it will not be close. I would expect a margin of victory in the 20-30s if you average the whole tournament. That said, the games are usually still relatively entertaining and provide a different kind of basketball compared to that of NBA.

Even with them not having a very stacked roster. Still enjoyable to watch, at times reminds me of watching the Harlem Globetrotters.

But I'd say watch out for the chineses. There isn't a team out there that is more motivated then them. That being said none of the real threats are in usas group. Expect 50+ slaughters. Should be a ton of fun to watch.

I think China will do pretty well actually. The men's team is definitely very motivated and they have shown some pretty good play.

Looking forward to it. not really accurate. it only looks that way because thats what they mostly rely on because they don't have the athleticism NBA has and they can't even make 90% of the highlights made in the NBA lol Yeah, pretty much. Also the NBA being so much better than everybody else doesn't mean they don't have any fundamentals -___- those guys practice really damn hard to get where they are...just being able to make crazy highlight reel shots and dunks doesn't make their play "bs highlight grabbing"...
