The issue is that if Misfits keeps this 4-5k gold lead, they will be a full item ahead of TSM until the 50 minute mark at the earliest, and that's the baseline gold lead you need as an early game team to scale faster than this mid/late game team of TSM.

Doesn't matter if you're an item behind if your champions are that much worse. Yasuo in particular didn't get nearly the lead he should have to be worth not picking a meta champion

TSM has stabilized for sure. Even behind 2k gold I think their comp way stronger right now.

Until Doublelift gets IE and probably QSS, I don't think they will be even because if he gets caught out then everyone on Misfits will blow him up, and Bjergsen probably dies in the crossfire.

Goddamn TSM just raises my blood pressure when I see their early game.

Bjergsen has just been making plays in fights to just bring TSM back into the game, even if double is doing more damage.

I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed, that TSM would just die
I dreamed that Riotscript would be forgiving

Ok, now TSM have stabilized, thanks mainly to Misfits deciding to blow up the tanky Sejuani when they knew they were under TSM vision and a lot of the team members were off the map.

Not just Bjergsen, Biofrost was the one who kept the CC chain going in that first team fight after Svenskeren hit the Sejuani ult on the Blitz.

Yeah, Rakan has just been huge this tournament. SKT, LZ comebacks from 10k were both off the back of massive rakan engages, and it's looking like it might just happen again this game.

Its almost like Rakan should be permabaned because he's the best champ in the game when you're at the worlds level.

But nah teams continue to 100% ban Kalista and give Rakan to others for Xayah (which thank god TSM thought better of this game)

Sven did a good job that game.

He recovered very well and stopped J4 from causing the real snowball by being in the right spots. Props, he played well.

MVP that game was Biofrost, basically single-handedly carrying TSM back into the game thanks to that midlane fight at/around 15 minute mark. Sven hit the engage but Biofrost on the Rakan kept the key players in the CC chain for Bjerg and Doublelift to dish out damage in that fight.

Hauntzer not losing lane while that fiesta was going on bottom was pretty key too

Honestly that flash ult by bjerg in the turn around fight just to think of that angle, hard to credit one person

I expect misfits to revert back to a meta comp now. They tried their aggression and it probably kicked them out the world's door. I doubt they try it again, huge props to them if they do

I don't even think the issue was that Misfits went for an early game comp. I think the issue was that last pick Yasuo didn't do a whole hell of a lot. They could've gone for something else in the top lane that we know works into Gnar and is a more meta pick (like the Jayce) and it would've worked better for them.

Basically just big plays to set up doublelift to just ult through 4 people. Even when twitch is down 2k gold, if he does that with a hurricane he'll still just do so much damage to everybody.
