And here's the most confusing part about this early game weakness.

Last year at Worlds, TSM was arguably one of the best early game teams, their worst issue was the mid and late game team fight because they were just so far ahead in NA that they never got to get experience with mid and late game fights.

But TSM have done damn near a 180, and this year they are the team that has the WORST early game of every team in Worlds, including the teams from the Draw In stage.

TSM has been so bad this worlds. They should not even be in contention for making it out of groups at this point.

But the way this has been going they probably will. :/

I don't think I've ever seen such a bad early game at worlds before. Just free as hell gold leads.

I've seen bad wildcard teams put up better early games.

I mean like... if Sven can't play sej or graggy take him Reksai or Elise.

They tier 2, but he can play those champs.

It's not just Lee Sin and Elise, it also had champions like Olaf, Karma, Nidalee, Ashe, and Syndra. They were strong champions in the meta and could capitalize on the 1-2 item power spike and push in their gold lead into baron or inhibitor takes.

I think the issue is more that Sven is probably the quintessential case of, "big fish, small pond" getting moved into Worlds and becoming "small fish, big pond" scenario.

Just realized we are guaranteed a tie breaker now. Either between MSF and WE for 1st or MSF and TSM for 2nd.

I think Sven has dominated at worlds before. Including last year.

This year he just looks completely outclassed. Like a plat player playing on a diamond players account.

I am so surpised how fearless MSF play this tournament. it is like they give no fucks at all.

Also I dont get why Janna is not perma banned. her record this tournament is completely insane.

Misfit's mid-lategame is absolute garbage, pretty much just as bad as TSM's early game.
