FWIW I've always felt the average skill of the top 3-4 teams of SEA is stronger than the average skill of the the top 3-4 teams in NA and EU LCS. They're also more creative with picks and unorthodox movements.

They have a tendency to do very risky manuevers for relatively little gain, but when they're ahead, they are very good at aggressively forcing the advantage. Their individual skill level is also very high.

Then you are crazy.

I mean you've already proven yourself to be totally incapable of seeing beyond the results of the most recent game + LCS fanboyism, so I don't know why you're even posting, literally no one on this forum takes your opinions seriously.

But but but..... USA No1! amirite?

I doubt people who chant USA against any foreign team is capable of thinking any differently. The mental gymnatics NA fans try to justify TSM, C9 on a 'good' day will take a game off SKT are impressive.

Have you read this LR thread? The EU fans are just as delusional. I mean that's why they are fans of a certain team no? Isn't the a huge part of being a fan of a team in the first place? Everyone needs a certain amount of self-delusion when they are talking about/cheering for their region/team.

wut so if idiocy is widespread it becomes common sense?
Fans who cannot support their team without having a distorted sense of their team's ability don't deserve to be fans. If you are a true fan you will support your team - that is wanting them to win regardless of how good they actually are.

lol, I swear, everytime there's some NA and EU team in an international tournament this bull shit always crops up.
who the fuck cares? it's like battling for 3rd place. Quit being so damn salty your teams aren't performing this tourney.

It's funnier because I find it's much more prevalent in the EU fanbase than the NA fanbase on the whole.

EU still hangs onto fucking IEM katowice from last year to try and justify they're comparable to KR

They should just take the NA mindset and just be like "yo, we ain't as good as KR, but at least we make a fuck ton of money, yolo swag, new mustang, freedom, apple pie, and guns"

See i find it is mostly NA guys rooting against Eu teams, while EU guys dont mind NA teams or are fans of them. Also way more EU guys interested in NA LCS and their teams than the other way around. I think that is pretty clear.

Not always the case, you could compare the best chess player atm at bullet ICC who is a prodigy at tactics and puzzles at 17 years old but lacks the strategy -yet- to be considered a strong GM at normal time chess to a veteran who is slow in calculating but has experience in every possible position.

IG displayed amazing tactical skill and mechanics in battle but immaturity in decision making. A typical eu team is more or less the opposite.

Its important to note that the first is much more important because the start of the game doesnt involve much decision making, thus if you get crushed in lanes you will be unable to use your strategical sense.[/

DONT TRY SO HARD TO BE A SMARTASS, YOU CANT CLOSE A GAME THAT YOU DID NOT OPEN

I saw a lot of great amazing EU wisdom and decision making during that hour and a half Mill/Fnatic game earlier. Never have I seen such masters of Summoners Rift so deftly jab, weave and feint in an elegant waltz towards the end.

Mill is the dead last team actually sux in decision making (ara in particular is well known retard and i hope you remember how kev1n threw the SK spot last summer). Fnatic (even though they are on a huge slump and cant coordinate at all -being 2-10 at the last 12 games says a lot-) actually played pretty smart under the circumstances.

That being said, i was never a fan of playing sissy style and i was constantly bashing the passive-do-nothing style that lemondogs started.

Also, i dont think that what we see is or can be indicative of a region's strength. 2 reasons for this:
1. Nerves on first game (i know from personal experience how hard you can choke on high stakes)
However i didnt expect gambit to play so sh1t cuz they seemed immune to this in the past.
2. BO1 format doesnt offer much room for a team to get their sh1t together and comeback.

To sum up all eu teams got crushed so hard in lane phase, that any talk about strategy and wisdom is ridiculous.

In IG vs KTB however it was obvious to everyone that even though they were crushing in fights they went full NA baron throw twice. It was actually very amusing to see that they were fighting so good that 1 baron throw wasnt enough so they went baron again to seal the deal.
Such strategy, much amazed.

actually, come to think of it, it was more arrogance than lack of strategy.

this post seemed so smart and refreshingly different from the EU USA bullshit that i had to quote it.
talking what went on in the game.
mind blown.

How could they? Eu teams only have a fraction of the sponsor money of NA teams.

Cuz they're too busy try harding against Koreans, because they've deluded themselves into thinking they're comparable, rather than making dat ez stream money. Ocelete was the true genius.
