More like because they fear they dont have the knowledge to call the players out. And they are right with that. They know their limits. Unlike Quickshot, who sometimes tries to critisze but is pretty painful to listen to then.
I thought it was just because Riot employs them and doesn't allow negativity?

You'd almost hope EG goes the NiP way in LCS NA just so Krepo can go the Deficio way and cast the summer split.
but in EU pls, NA already has the good Color Casters.

I do enjoy how the second a turning thing happens like an unsuccessful gragas ult krepo immediately says a quick thing like "not enough" or "it's over"

LCS is so boring compared to everything else I have no idea why. Even the challenger scene in the respective regions are more entertaining than watching LCS teams playing each other.

I always thought Deman was pretty blunt, he may not always have been right about what he said, but he's always been the wild child of the Riot casters.
I doubt they have a no negativity thing @ Riot, instead they likely just spend a lot of time teaching them how to be positive. I find there is not as much "no-negativity" stuff coming from top down as everything thinks (I don't know for sure with Riot tho) in E-Sports. I've never seen it talked about in a live event, just some (ie: most) casters always default to it, because criticizing opening you up to the wrath of Reddit.
Just guess however, I don't know for sure.

That makes a lot more sense then. It's pretty easy to go into a negative spiral and make everyone feel put off by the broadcast.
