Stop arguing or baiting about nationalities or regions. -Page 231 |
Tourney winnings for league teams don't mean too much for established brands / teams. They're just a nice bonus.

No fcking kidding?
In other words, what matters isn't always quality of games.

This. It's more like, people just cheer for the teams they like. Game 1 was definitely not boring and rather close. There was definitely a difference in the cheering even during the games; whenever fnatic got a dragon the crowd went nuts. KTB wins team fights, baron, etc. and all you hear are golf claps.
It's not because of the quality of games, don't use that excuse.

i thought game 1 and 2 were pretty back and forth in a throwy way. if these teams were gambit and fnatic the crowd would be goign wild and saying bestest series ever.

Now I sorta want kt b to get dumpstered on in groups just to show how far behind everyone is to KR.

LoL scene and Dota scene are pretty different. I think a lot of EU/NA players don't stand out and just aren't that likable.

not that i really care who they cheer for but this is not simply more vs less cheers, but all cheers vs crickets. the contrast is notable mainly for how drastic it is.

Who cares? I much prefer the storyline of korean teams silencing crowds than this politically correct bullshit of 'equal applause for both teams'.
Also. Sound proof booths when?

I was saying that using the excuse of "quality of games was bad, thus no cheers" is stupid. But it's not a race thing either. I agree, of course home team will get more cheers. People cheer for the teams they like.
